It may seem like Bruce Yamada has the perfect life but that is completely untrue.

It seems nice to be the most liked person in the school but trust me its not.

Bruce has people constantly asking for his phone number which he is obviously not comfortable with but he doesn't have the courage to say it because he's shy.

Bruce has been playing baseball ever since he was 5.

He really loved baseball but he kind of got tired of it when highschool started.

But he is still in a baseball team because of his parents.

He wants his parents to be proud of him even though he's stressing out in the inside.

He wants to be the perfect son every parent would ask for.

But lately he's just been so out of it.

He failed his math test for the first time which made him had a panic attack.

Well I mean he didn't technically fail because he got a B+ on it but it wasn't an A.

He panicked because he wasn't sure how his parents were going to feel about it.

He could be grounded for months and he didn't want that.

Bruce tried to hide his tears when he got his results.

He knew his parents were going to find out at some point so he just decided to tell them himself.

"Mom.. dad I have to tell you something."

"What's up honey?" His mother said facing him

Bruce took a deep breath and showed his parents the grade.

"I got a B+ on my math test... Im sorry I really really tried." Bruce held his tears.

His parents both sighed.

"Well can't re you take it?" His father asked

"I could ask.."

"Ok we will let it slide but you know next time you will be grounded for a month."

"Yes father." Bruce headed up to his room and studied harder for the retake.

He's pretty sure he's allowed to retake it so thats why he's studying

While he was studying he received a message.

F: Hey Bruce! Are you able to come to the park to practice baseball?

B: I wish I could but I have to study for the retake math test.

F: But Bruce you got a B+? I'm pretty sure that's good enough right?

B: Not enough for my parents. You know how they are. I'm sorry Finney but maybe tomorrow I promise I'll practice baseball with you at some point.

F: Aw man I'm so sorry Bruce. No worries we could definitely do baseball another time! Goodnight Bruce. Sleep well I love you♥️

B: Goodnight I love you too Finney♥️♥️

Bruce put his phone down and continued to study.
