Warnings: Insecurities

Billy noticed how nice of a day it was, so he decided to ask his boyfriend Griffin to go to the beach.

"So, does that sound okay?" Billy asked.

Griffin hesitated before answering knowing he feels self conscious about himself. But, at the same time he wants to spend time with his lover since they rarely hang out anyways.

"Yea that would be fun!" Griffin said while smiling.

Billy nodded, smiling back.

"Should we start packing?" Griffin asks. "Yeah, after I walk Buster." Billy told him.

"Okay, go ahead i'll be there watching TV" Griffin let out a chuckle at the end.

Billy hummed in response, lightly tugging on Griffin's shirt. "C'mon let's go to my house." They walked side by side until they heard the familiar barking of Billy's dog.

Billy unlocked the door, hearing the scraping of the dog's claws. Griffin chuckled after Buster jumped up on the door, seeing the pair.

Billy opened the door, to reveal an eager dog waiting for them.

"So, you'll walk him and we'll start packing?" Billy nodded, smiling at his boyfriend.

Billy puts the leash on Buster and takes him out for his walk while Griffin starts to pack.

Packing was one of Griffin's favorite things to do. He didn't know why he just found it comforting.

He packed some sunscreen, sandwiches that he made earlier, water, and the usual you would pack.

Billy came back from his quick walk and put Buster in the cage.

Now Buster is a good dog, but sometimes he can get out of control. That's why Billy has a cage just in case.

"Back from the walk so quickly?" Griffin popped out of the hallway. "Yeah, you're done packing?"

Griffin nodded, walking over to his boyfriend. "Should we go to the beach now?" Griffin asked. Billy smiled, nodding.

The sand beneath their feet was hot, as well as the day. Good thing there was sunscreen hidden in the depths of their bag.

Billy sets down the beach chairs while Griffin starts to set up the towel on the sand.

"Are you hungry? I brought some snacks and made some sandwiches" Griffin asked Billy.

"Yeah! Thanks." Billy smiled, shaking some sand off his hands. Griffin sets the green bag onto the sand.

He unzips the bag, pulling out a Ziploc bag. "Here." Griffin hands the bag to Billy.

"Let me guess, ham?" Griffin laughed, shaking his head. "What do you think?" Griffin asked.

Billy opened the Ziplock bag to reveal a ham sandwich.

"Taaa daaaaaa! It is a ham sandwich! Isn't that surprising!" Griffin says sarcastically.

"Oh wow! I would have never guessed. Thanks Griffin you sure know me well!" Billy says sarcastically back.

"Enough with the sarcasm." Billy let out a chuckle "Do you want a bite?" Billy asks

One thing that Billy didn't know about Griffin is that he's super insecure and Griffin is too afraid to tell Billy that because he thinks he might leave him.

He's also a massive overthinker.

"Oh uhm, I'm okay. Thank you though!" Griffin lets out a small smile at the end.

"Oh okay, if you say so." Billy says while taking bites out of his sandwich.

"Do you wanna walk on the coastline?" Griffin asks, wanting to do something. Billy nods, taking yet another bite.

Griffin hums, walking over to the icy water.

Billy takes one last bite of his sandwich before putting it away.

When he finishes putting it away he goes to Griffin and starts playing around with him.

"You still haven't put your bathing suit on. I guess you'll have to swim in your clothes!!" Billy teases

"Shut up you jerk you can't be talking! You're not wearing your bathing suit either!" Griffin says defensively

"Oh! Well, do you want me to?" He says while smirking which makes Griffin flustered

"Ugh, shut up" He scoffs. Billy crouch's down, running a hand through the sea water. "Damn, that's cold. It would suck if I pushed you in it."

Griffin's eyes widening, seeing where the other was getting at. "No, absolutely not." Billy grinned.

"No. You hear me, No!" Billy ignored him, standing up. Griffin runs towards their setup, making sand fly everywhere.

Billy was close behind. Griffin stops once he gets there, them both being out of breath.

"Jeez, you run fast." Billy says before sitting down on the towel laid down on the sand. Griffin chuckles, doing the same.

"Look at the sunset." Griffin points out. Billy looks up.

The sky was a nice shade of orange and red. "It's beautiful." Billy states. "Yeah."

Billy lays back onto the towel, pulling Griffin on top of him.

They woke up a few hours later with sand stuck in their hair
