Lauren stirred herself awake at around 2am. The sleeping girl upon her lap so out of it she almost considered going to bed without her. When glancing down at the top of her head, using her fingers to drag back the hair from her cheek, she realised just how lucky she had been

Her face looked so peaceful in slumber, relaxed lips and a steady breath a clear indicator of the needed rest. Lauren stared for a good couple of minutes, rubbing her short nails up and down the girl's spine and observing the way she moved in closer against her lap

A moment like this felt brand new. Of course they'd shared a cuddle before, but being so close on the brink of disaster only made it that much more special. Despite Camila's anger and spite, she still came over to be with the woman she was theoretically forbidden to be with

"Hey" Lauren whispered as she gently stroked the side of Camila's cheek "You wanna get into bed? The couch isn't very comfy" the small girl stirred for a few seconds before lifting up her head. The initial confusion quickly replaced with reassurance when Lauren's hand combed back the displaced hair

"Sure" she mumbled with strained, tired eyes, lifting herself lazily onto her knees with a tiny jump of Lauren's hand grabbing for her fingers "Come on, let's go" Lauren guided the pair into the dark room, escorting Camila to her side of the bed before carefully unzipping the back of her skirt "Thanks" Camila smiled, pulling back the heavy covers to slide beneath the sheets

Lauren rounded the bed quietly and unzipped her skin tight jeans, crawling in beside the girl now turning to face her with barely open eyes "I meant what I said you know" the brunette whispered. Lauren smiled, cupping her cheek with a stroking thumb "What?"

"I just wanted to feel close to you" Camila confessed, pushing her foot between Lauren's calves to carefully intertwine their legs "I know I could have just come here but-

"I get it" Lauren chuckled, having had enough time to think over the situation "It's hard when you're in the moment" Camila nodded, fighting to keep her eyes open "This stuff scares me so much, I don't like needing anyone"

Lauren brushed her fingers through Camila's hair with another genuine smile "I've been feeling the same to be honest" she admit "It's kind of intimidating to think about anyone but yourself"

Camila woke up a little after Lauren's statement, her eyes widened and she sucked in a rather large breath "You're scared too?" She asked sweetly, too tired to remember her usual razor attitude "About this?"

Lauren nodded a small reply "I guess so, I've never really needed anyone before so this is terrifying" Her laugh was needed for Camila, for once, she could relate and relating to Lauren felt incredible "That's kind of a relief to be honest!" Camila admit "I thought you were a pro at this stuff" she spoke, rolling onto her back to stare at the ceiling

Lauren chuckled to herself as she did the same, rolling onto her back before feeling Camila's eyes burn into the side of her cheek "What? Why are you laughing?"

Lauren smirked "I may have had a lot of sex Camila, but I've never been in anything that even closely resembles a relationship!" The younger widened her eyes "I don't do feelings normally, so it's strange to me that I have them for you"

Camila sat up straight "You have feelings for me?" the sensation in her stomach whirled like a tornado mid ambush "Like, feeling feelings?"

Lauren rolled over to lean on her elbow, her emerald eyes sparkling against the lashings of moonlight that slid through the gaps in the curtains "What else would you call this?" She asked genuinely "It's not exactly normal to feel this emotional over a fuck buddy, is it?"
