Lan Xichen was yet again, hit with another wave of shock, "why my sworn-brother?" He asked.

"Oh, just wait and see, and I wouldn't want to call him a brother for much longer," the female voice said.

Lan Xichen sighed as he watched Jin Guangyao enter Koi Tower. He was then in a secret room behind a bronze mirror. Lan Xichen was very confused as to how his sworn brother was even powerful enough to know such an extension charm. Inside, there was so much more than he expected. There was more scriptures of charms and talismans.

Lan Xichen passed a table and saw a spell, not just a spell, a curse. Just as he figured out what curse it was, Su MinShan (Su She), entered the mirror, "the curse has been cast. It shouldn't take long," he said.

Lan Xichen's heart shattered... "what?" He asked, "me?"

"He and Da-Ge...they must at some point...Da-Ge can do first, as Zewu Jun is easier to manipulate," Jin Guangyao said, "as for Hanguang Jun...he and Wei Wuxian are too close. My guess, he dies when Wei Wuxian dies."

Lan Xichen couldn't hear any more, "I am done, I get it, he set up Wei Wuxian and he is the reason why Wei Wuxian and Wangji died. I get it. Just let me be!" He yelled through tears and sobs, "let me save my brother! Let me try to save him and my brother-in-law. Let me help Jiang Yanli too. I will help. No more!"

"Very well, now, I actually want you to see one more memory, as this may help you," the woman said.

Lan Xichen was teleported back in time. He was standing in a room, it looked to be a building in Cloud Recesses. He then looked around about, seeing gentians outside a window and noticed women's clothing on the floor...there was also male robes laying beside them. Lan Xichen recognized the women's clothes but the men's, they were of Gusu's but they were for mentors and teachers. Lan Xichen heard a female's voice muffled, almost crying, like she was trying to desperately escape from something or someone. Almost like she was struggling.

Lan Xichen peered around a door and saw the face of the woman, "mom?" He questioned and saw a man on top of her, that was not his father...she was being held down and forced upon. Lan Xichen could only watch as his mother was being raped. Everything changed when Xichen saw his mother gain a free hand and grab the man's sword that was beside the bed and shove it into the man above her.

After that, she was charged and to remain isolated. Isolated in a place of the constant reminder of what happened to her and not receiving justice because no one would hear her side of the story. She drank alcohol as she didn't get a tea to keep her from getting pregnant. The alcohol was the only option.

Later, Lan Xichen's father had married her to keep her safe, and had Xichen and Lan Wangji in the process. Lan Xichen was then taken to the night where he saw his mother take her life away, by slitting her throat. Lan Xichen now knows why, she died. He now knows why everything happened and how Lan Qiren was so strict with him and his Wangji.

"Never again will I let Uncle hurt you Wangji, but how can I as a child?" Lan Xichen said.

"You can stand up for him, you now have knowledge that no one else has," the woman said, "use it...I can't go back to help your mother, but you can do something by trying to persuade your father. Have him look into why she did what she did. He has to care a little bit about you to know that he is hurting you both too."

Lan Xichen nodded, "take me back and I will do this."

The woman then took Lan Xichen back. Lan Xichen was now a child again, his mother was actually still alive at this time. He knows what happened to her, and he he has to find proof...even if he can't save her from dying she can try to get justice for her. And as for Lan Wangji, he was determined to help him, save him.

Lan Wangji shouldn't have to feel isolated in a second life. Lan Xichen at least wanted Wangji to open up to him more. No more secrets between each other. He wants to know what happens and he wants to help Wangji as best as he can. He too, will help with Wei Wuxian, he did not want Wei Wuxian to go through such torment ever again.
