Keefe only knew one person who could help, Elwin. He grabbed his jerkin that he threw off and fished out his imparter then wrapped his warm shirt around Sophie, giving her at least a little bit of warmth. "Show me Elwin." he whispered.

"Keefe? Well, this is a surprise. Usually it's Sophie who calls me. What happened?" Keefe's mind suddenly went blank as he tried to get words out, he needed words. All he could come up with was a rushed, "Sophie, trouble, Forkle's office, HELP!" He then hung up.

A few seconds later Elwin hailed him, "Keefe, slow down. What are you talking about?" He took a deep breath to calm his nerves and explained everything that happened from doing the Cognate exercise to moving closer to the lake then he explained every gruesome detail about Fitz pushing Sophie into the lake and how she just froze so he had to jump in and save her. By the time he was finished he was out of breath and Elwin looked at him blankly. "Okay wait, how do I get there then?"

"I DON'T KNOW! Maybe my dad knows or something I think he had a crystal that led here." Keefe dragged his hand through his hair and took more deep breaths.

"Okay, Keefe calm down, I'll be there in a few minutes. In the mean time try to keep Sophie as warm as possible." He hung up.

"Okay, I am fine, Foster definitely isn't in trouble and Fitz totally didn't just ditch us." Keefe repeated to himself over and over.

After for what felt like hours later, but probably was just 5 minutes, a bunch of adults came bombarding him with questions, but they all stopped when they noticed the now very pale Sophie in Keefe's arms. Elwin ordered Keefe to lay her down on her back while Bullhorn curled up on her chest. He made her swallow all kinds of liquids that made Keefe want to vomit. They seemed to help when Bullhorn got up and scurried back into his little cage. "I think she's fine now." Elwin said as he snapped his fingers while sweat was dripping down his face. His usual bouncy chocolate brown hair was replaced with droopy curls. Keefe definitely did not want to know what he looked like. Though he could feel strands of hair plastered to his face. "Hmmm." Elwin mumbled, snapping so he could switch through different colors. He mostly circled around her stomach and chest.

"May I check her thoughts?" Mr. Forkle asked as Elwin snapped through more colors.

"Sure, be my guest." Then, he rested his fingers on Sophie's temples and went into her mind.
