Leave it to her to almost kill herself trying to remember a boy. Sophie couldn't quite remember the details but what she did know is that she was slowly remembering Keefe. So far just the basics like how she met him, some of the memories they had together. Most importantly, she remembered that he's her boyfriend. The only problem was that she was back in her mental sick bay, unable to do anything about it. It even hurt to move her limbs, she was stuck having Clarisna do everything without her, even though Sophie was partially glad that she got to see her running around like a maniac waving baby blue papers in the air and snapping in her complicated patterns. Other than all that, she felt amazing.
"Moonlark do not worry! I will fix everything! Just stay in that bed and I'll be back with more soup! Not that it would do anything to your physical body except maybe make it a little warm...hmmmm. Don't worry! I'm handling this!" that might have been slightly reassuring if she hadn't assured her every five minutes.
"Don't worry about me Clarisna! Just do what you need to do." Sophie called after her, but she doubted think the insane girl would hear her since she somehow summoned a bunch of bookshelves filled to the brim with thick books and disappeared inside the mini library. She was now back to waiting for something to happen, anything really. She would have even settled for getting a piercing headache. Anything but waiting until her doom. If Sophie had to think of a list of words that described herself, optimistic would probably be at the bottom.
Suddenly, as if her prayers had been answered, she clutched her head as a jarring headache caused her to tumble out of her bed. It felt like it was about to blow up when it disappeared just as fast as it had appeared for no apparent reason. "Well that felt amazing." she grumbled to herself as she picked up some of the cotton white pillows and dragged the silver blanket off of the ground. Of course that's when Clarisna decided to materialize beside her, causing her to almost have a heart attack and dropping the rest of the heavy comforter on the ground. Which of course she tripped on.
"Oops! Sorry! Didn't mean to startle you so much! Here, let me help." she did another one of her snapping patterns and her bed looked like it was fit for a queen. The blanket had no wrinkles as it had previously and the pillows were fluffed to perfection with a royal looking sleeping mask hanging off the middle one.
"Seriously, are you ever going to tell me how you do that?" Sophie begged as she blew strands of hair out of her face, it didn't do anything except float in the air for a few seconds before settling and making itself comfortable on her cheek.
"That's a secret for another time. And I've got some news that I'm not sure is bad or good, but I think it's leaning more toward bad, but-"
"Clarisna! Just say it, nothing could get worse at this point." Sophie interrupted. Score one for being Miss Sunshine.
"Well, I did some calculations and I found out that at the rate it's taking you to fully remember Keefe, it may take weeks or months since there are so many memories that you guys share. So incase you think of anyone that you might've forgotten, let me know." Clarisna waited ever so innocently as she stared at Sophie in the eyes.
"Clarisna." She said in a delicate tone. "I'm not sure if you heard yourself or not, but HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK OF SOMEONE THAT I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER?"
"Oh... right. Well, I guess I'll have to go through all your memories again."
"And how long will that take?" Sophie asked with clenched teeth.
"Hmmm, maybe about three days or more. A week tops."
"Okay, okay okay okay okay. Everything is fine, right? Of course it is. Clarisna! Why aren't you looking me in the eyes?" Sophie snapped, if she were in a cartoon her face would've been red with steam coming out of her ears. Or maybe her eyes would turn into laser beams.
"Well, uh, Sophie. It's just that you have a crazy look in your eyes that's kind of scary. Maybe you should get some rest and I'll follow up in the morning?"
"Rest? You want to talk about getting rest right now? I can't! Clarisna you should get out of here before you get caught in the war zone because I am definitely not about to-" Sophie didn't need to tell her twice, as soon as she got the words out of her mouth Clarisna simply faded away, and with that Sophie screamed a guttural cry.
