"Ugh. Stupid barriers, stupid bed, stupid darkness." Sophie grumbled to herself. She knew she was acting childish when she started kicking the walls, it made no difference, but it felt nice to let some of that anger out. Silently into the void she transmitted a little message she knew no one would actually hear, "Keefe, I really miss you." Then she settled under the covers of her little bed and dozed off to sleep.
Hours later Sophie got up from the big mattress and wiped a little drool from her chin. At first she was just wandering around, she honestly didn't even know what she was looking for, maybe some sort of gap she could push through?
"Moonlark." a voice suddenly echoed in the dark abyss.
"Hello? Are you my inner voice or something?"
"Well of course, but my real name is Clarisna. Created by Mr.Forkle as a guide to make your mind stronger. In case you ever got lost."
"Um, okay then. Do you know why I'm even in here then?"
"Yes, I do. Do you not remember what happend?"
"Well I asked you for a reason."
Clarisna laughed as she said "Oh yes, well... I'm not sure how to say this but, that teal eyed boy pushed you into that freezing lake. It was so cold that you froze and started to sink under. Whatever happened after that is beyond my knowledge."
"Seriously? Why would Fitz do something like that? I mean, I know that he seemed a little off when we were about to do our exercise but-"
"So you are sure you don't have the slightest clue? Y'know I have been in here for ages and I have seen little things here and there. Even if you aren't aware of them I am. Remember that."
"Okay." Sophie yawned and felt every muscle in her body turn to lead.
"You should rest, I shall assist you in finding the answer."
"Thank you Clarisna."
"Of course."
