San Ilia started as a massive cathedral, that eventually turned into a castle.
From there, it continued to grow and the archbishop became a King. All heroes eventually want to reach San Ilia and meet the King.... But there's a major problem.
The King only meets with baptized Heroes, and Luka hasn't been baptized, Raiden himself doesn't care and doesn't want to get involved in their politics, either.
Standing in front of the gate are a lot of strong looking Heroes. A bunch of other adventurers hoping for an audience with the king are gathered around, too.
Guard A: Are you also hoping for an audience with the King? Please sign your name on this application form.
Luka: Ok....
Raiden: 'To hell with this waiting time...'
Alice: 'My desire to destroy this castle grows every second that I!m waiting.'
Guard A: The King wants to meet all brave Heroes... But since there are so many, it will take some time.
Guard A: It nay take around three days, so please spend some time in the castle.
Raiden: 'Three days man... I could have saved Pakistan in that timeframe...'
Armstrong: 'You lucky you had one of those jets that can reach from Paris to Paris in a few hours.'
Guard A: You may explore the castle as you wish, but some areas are restricted. You may also sleep for free, so please enjoy your time in San Ilia.
Luka: Thank you! Let's go, you two.

Raiden: ................
The bored Alice, tired Raiden and Luka head into the castle.
The three look around. It seems that Luka is the only one who looks glorified by the stuff here while both Alice and Raiden looks unfazed or more particularly, uninterested.
Luka: This is the famous [Magnificent Ilias Goddess Statue]. This statue is much more amazing than anything back at Ilias Temple...
Alice: Is that so...
Luka: The great Ilias created the first man and woman...
Monsoon: 'Does the Bible exist in their world?'
Khamsin: 'No, I think it doesn't.'
Blade Wolf: 'This world has different religious beliefs. It's not surprising something like Islam, Hinduism or even Christianity exists in this world.'
Doktor: 'The dog's right, there might be a religion that is close to Christianity but they may just screw up something.'
Luka: To lead them, she bestowed upon them this magnificent statue. For thousands of years, this statue has guided the hearts of humans.
Alice: Hrm.
Luka: By the way, did you notice that everyone is careful when walking around to not point their sheathed sword at the statue?
Luka: Do you know why?
Alice: How would I know.
Luka: It's because one of the five commandments is [Point your sword at the Goddess and thou shalt cry.]
