Lucy's POV
She looks so beautiful, peaceful even.
"I'm sorry Mrs Seymour, we have to close the casket now"
"Okay.. Bye mom, I love you"
***
"Lucy, I'm sorry for your loss. If you ever need anything, just call okay?"
"Thank you Aunt Jane, I will. If you ever need anything, call me too"
Jane gives me a soft hug and leaves. Tears are still in my eyes, they've been there throughout the whole day.
Looking around, I spot a familiar face.
"Ouch" tears start to well up in my eyes and one drips down.
"Lucy, I'm so sorry"
"For what?"
He places his hand on my cheek and wipes away the tear.
"Get your hand off me" I spit
"Lucy, don't be like that. Sure, we're not together anymore but it doesn't mean I don't care for you. I still love you, no matter what"
"Oh please. I don't want to talk to you, not here and especially not now. Just leave, you have no right to be here"
"I'm here to support you, don't do this-"
"Leave. Now!"
"Fine. I truly am sorry for you Lucy"
"Sure you are"
That scum! Thinking he can show up at MY mothers funeral without making an affect on anything? Ugh. The cheek he has to do such a thing! I'm so angry right now, I could punch a hole through the wall! Lucy calm yourself, people are here.
Within an hour everyone has left and I'm standing in the living room pondering over looking through moms things or just laying down for a nap. I decide to take a nap.
***
It's around 6:00pm after my nap and decide to go through my mother's things. Everything brings back so many memories. I place my moms ashes next to my dads and continue sorting through things.
When I'm finished packing up the living room, I move onto her room.
It still smells like her. I decide to keep her jewelry for anyone that may want and end up crying when I see the locket I bought her for her 50th birthday. I continue to cry for what feels like hours and eventually fall asleep on her bed.

Mum wanted me to spread dads ashes somewhere high up so he could enjoy the view. So I'm going to the Colombian Centre to spread them together.
I get there fairly early and go on with the early tour. The view is so beautiful but I'm only in an observatory so there's no way to spread their ashes.
I notice a side door while the tour guide is talking about the city and see someone open it and come back inside. I slip away from the group and slide through the door.
The view is literally breath taking, and the air is so fresh. I walk to the railing and open both urns. I spread them until the urns are empty then place them on the ground. I look out at the scenery and let a few tears fall down and grip the railing. They're in a better place now and I'm happy about that.
It hurts so much though. Losing my mother, daughter and husband in the same year. Life couldn't get any worse for me but seeing this right now makes me feel like it's worth it.
I wipe my tears away and place my hands back on the railing. My hands slip a little and my heart starts pounding. I quickly regain my balance and step back a little. I literally almost fell of the top of this building.
I look over the rail a little bit and my heart flutters. Imagine falling over the side you would die instantly. You would die instantly!
I hear a voice in my head repeating this phrase over and over. Just jump it says, you have nothing to live for anyway. You hate your life, do it and everything will be fine. C'mon Jump! Jump! Jump!
The voices keep getting louder and louder and I step closer to the edge. And closer and closer until my legs are touching the rail. The cold steel sends shivers up and down my spine. I jump. I forget everything and jump. It feels peaceful, almost blissful.
