After a chaotic, and heated, argument between Mal and Ben, the purple haired girl arrives inside the building where her dormitory is located and pounds into the room, barely noticing Evie and Y/N. One is curled up closed to the other, tears streaming down her face, as the other comforts her, knowing the feeeling. As if weather knew the mood around the room, the once beautiful azure sky with fluffly white clouds dotted around it turned into dark, glommy sight. Rain pouring down the United States of Auradon.
A decision already made, Mal immediately starts packing, grabbing her bag with a yank, a fustrated sigh comes out of her mouth. Looking up the daughter of the Mistress of Evil, confusion written in her eyes and a hint of sadness, the H/L H/C haired princess ask, "What's the matter?"
Startled, but the anger the taking over it, Mal aswer still packing her stuff, "I'm leaving! All the work, and the rules, and the people- and the feelings - Ugh, makes me sick!"
Evie pulls away from the soon-to-be Queen, sitting up in her bed, and adds to the conversation, "Yeah, me too - I can't believe I fell for Chad. What a zero."
"E, Mal and I have been telling you multiple times." Y/N comments, placing a hand on the blunette's shoulder and giving her knowing look.
"Exactly! Come with me! You too Y/N." Mal tries to encourage closing her bag and slings her bag on her shoulder facing both of the girls.
The Auradonian Princess looks at Mal in shock at the fact that she wanted her to come as well. Meanwhile Evie gets off her bed, walking over to the best friend, and whispers, "But. . . what about the wand? And our parents? We can't go back empty-handed."
"Jay and Carlos can get it for us!" At the mention of her crush's name, Y/N perks her head up slightly looking at each of the girls back and forth, eavesdropping into the conversation.
"They can't get through a day without you. You're the leader." Evie explains using her hands to dictate each of her words and her voice level higher than a whisper, making the H/C haired girl look at both of the girls confused.
Her grip on the strap of her bag, making her knuckles pale, Mal gives a sad sigh, and starting to make her way towards the door she says, "Well, not anymore. Let's go."
At this point, Y/N was already standing looking at Mal, feeling sympathy for the girl and wondering what had happened earlier for her mood to change so quickly. Meanwhile, confidence overcomes Evie, therefore she says, "But what if I don't want to leave?"
"Uh. . . Evie, you just said, Chad's a zero." Y/N tells her, confusion is still written across her face as she walks towards both girls.
"He is. But, turns out- I actually like school? I never got to study or learn new things on the Isle. My mom just wanted me to act dumb and pretty and get a boyfriend, but-" Evie starts explaining while playing with her fingers. A small smile graces her lips as her eyes sparkle a little, in which Y/N had a small smile watching the bluenette explain that she likes Auradon, until she gets to the part where she says what Queen Grimhilde expects from her.
"You guys are different than them." Y/N finishes for Evie, looking at both girls in sympathy once again slightly understading them.

MAL: "We'll never fit in here. No matter what."EVIE and Y/N (realizing): "Is this about Ben/my brother? What happened?"
MAL: "I don't wanna talk about it."
