"run!" A man yelled a grunt fell from my lips. Everyone around me was running frantically, trying to survive the fight. The sound of people dying could be heard right next to me, looking over to see a body drop onto the cold, hard ground. Blood dripping from their mouth.
A whistle echoed through the air. "Dog, come on!" i heard daryl yell. I looked around, trying to find him, but he was already gone, disappearing in the night.
I had to make a run for it, standing still for too long would get me killed, feeling a tug at my shoulder as i got thrown back, yelling out when i hit the ground. The wind had been knocked out of me.
A rope had been wrapped around me, quickly pulling it off, and making a run for it into the woods. I ran as fast as i possibly could, trying to get away, and get to safety. Everyone was gone, not knowing where they were or who made it out. There were so many bodies on the ground i couldn't tell who they were.
breathing became hard, my lungs burned so bad from running. Each breathe i took burned my chest a little more, Taking this moment to look at my surroundings. The sun was coming up which made it easier to see.
"come on, daryl. Find me." i whispered as i started making tracks to be followed.
I grabbed a few rocks and a stick, stacking them up, knowing daryl would notice it. If he were to come through here. There were no guarantees since there's a chance he's been through here already.
I continued walking through the woods, seeing a road. I looked both ways, not that it mattered. A sigh fell from my lips and i started walking along the road.

I ducked down as a knife flew past my head, turning to hide behind a tree as i looked around for y/n.
"dog, come on!" I whistled, not seeing y/n anywhere. Maybe she had already ran off.
Dog and i ran for awhile until we got too tired, making it to a building as i snuck around, peeking around a brick wall. There was a man in all black, similar to what i saw earlier.
