Suzy and Younghoon left the building in silence - the girl because of the weird encounter with Sunwoo and Younghoon because of how nervous he was about telling her he liked her.

Younghoon glanced at Suzy and noticed that something was wrong. She walked with her head down, eyes locked on the ground. He furrowed his brows and asked if she was ok.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She faked a smile.

"You're lying to me."

She scoffed playfully. "No, I'm not."

He pulled her by the sleeve which caused them both to stop. Younghoon looked at her suspiciously, trying to read her like a book, but he couldn't figure out what was wrong. What he knew for sure was that she became this way after seeing Sunwoo, everything seemed perfectly fine before they met him by the elevator. "Did he upset you with that or something? I told you he's an asshole."

Suzy smiled a little. "We don't really talk anymore so.." She looked away, troubled.

The boy's eyes widened a little as he nodded, biting his lip to prevent smiling. He couldn't help but celebrate inside. It was the best news for him, considering he was about to confess his feelings to her. Although, of course, seeing her sad made him feel bad as well. "I'm not going to ask for details."

"Good, don't. There's nothing to tell."

He nodded and Suzy turned on her heel, wanting to walk towards the store, but Younghoon pulled her by the sleeve once again. "Wait."

"Right, you wanted to talk." She slapped her forehead. "What's up?"

Younghoon took a deep breath and gently grabbed both of her hands. She glanced down at the sudden physical touch and raised her brows. "What's going on?" She asked while a confused smile painted her face.

"I should've told you this before, but I didn't know how or if I should at all. Only when I saw you with Sunwoo I realized I was stupid and should do something about it."

Suzy's eyes widened with each sentence coming out of the boy's mouth.

"Fuck, I really can't believe I'm doing this." He chuckled. "I've had feelings for you for quite some time."

"Oh my god."

"I was wondering if maybe you'd want to go out with me? Have a dinner or something.. not as just friends."

Suzy stood there frozen, staring at her best friend confessing his feelings for her while holding her hands. Her mouth fell agape a little and she tried to say something a few times, but couldn't find the right words.

"It's ok, you can think-"

"Sure."

Younghoon raised his brows, taken aback. It was an answer he wished to hear, but wasn't sure if he would. "Wait, really?"

Suzy thought about Sunwoo and how she had some sort of feelings for him, but considering how he behaved towards her recently lead to nowhere. She then tried to look at Younghoon in a different way - the romantic one. He was a great friend and a great flirt, though she had no idea how he'd be in a relationship since she'd never seen him in one. She was curious, so she decided to take a shot. "Really." She smiled.

Younghoon's pearly whites appeared, making him look super cute and charming. He nodded and let go of her hands. "Great." He chuckled and then cleared his throat.

Suzy burst out laughing. "Am I crazy or is Younghoon flustered?!"

He turned his head, avoiding her eyes. "Shut it."

"He is!" Suzy walked around him, trying to see his face but he would turn away each time she almost did.

If others saw them without knowing them, they'd think they were a cute couple that just started dating and well, they wouldn't be far from the truth.

After half an hour they got back to Heemin's apartment, giggling and smiling from ear to ear. The girl crossed her arms and leaned back on her feet. "What's so funny?"

The two waved their hands. "I'll go unpack this." Younghoon took the bag out of Suzy's hand and went to the kitchen, leaving the two best friends alone.

Heemin put on a smile even though she had nothing to be smiling about. "What's going on?"

Suzy grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the living room. She covered her mouth and stared at her friend in silence. Heemin glanced at her questionably and the other finally spoke up. "Something crazy just happened."

Oh no. Heemin chuckled, pretending that everything was completely fine and she wasn't freaking out about what her best friend was about to tell her. "What?"

Suzy leaned over to the girl's ear and whispered. "Younghoon just asked me out."

Heemin's face dropped. She faked a gasp, trying to act surprised and even excited. "What?! What did you say to that?!"

"I said yeah, why not?" Suzy giggled, excited while the other girl felt as if thousands of needles went through her whole body.
