Younghoon didn't feel like answering the door. He sat on the couch with dried tears on his cheeks as he stared at the TV that had a random channel turned on.
Heemin knew he was home since she could hear the TV, so she banged on it again. "It's me, Heemin!"
Younghoon's head turned abruptly after hearing her name. He wiped his cheeks, nose and walked over to let the girl in.
As soon as the two looked each other in the eyes, the boy burst out crying again. Heemin didn't think twice and threw herself on him, hugging him as tight as she was able to. He melted into her embrace even though he was the one towering over her.
After awhile, he calmed down a little, so the two sat on the ground by the table in the living room where Heemin took out two bottles of soju. "I thought you might need some distraction."
He chuckled and grabbed one without much thought. "You know me too well." He followed the girl with his eyes as she went to grab two shot glasses. He looked at her apologetically as soon as he remembered her confession. "Thanks for coming, Heemin-ah." He put his hand on hers.
"Of course." She smiled softly.
"How did you know?"
She poured them both a shot and they clinked the glasses together, drinking to the bottom. "She told me." Heemin wiped her lips right after swallowing the alcohol.
Younghoon raised his brows. "Really?"
She nodded. "Actually.." She paused and glanced at the boy who looked completely exhausted from all of his emotions. "She heard our little argument.. maybe it had something to do with the kiss, I don't know. She's usually not like that, you know her."
The boy grunted and covered his face with palms. "Everything got so messed up in one night."
Heemin just nodded while pouring another shot.
"Listen, I also wanted to apo-" The girl put her finger on his lips, shaking her head to not continue.
"Don't, not now. Let's focus on you right now, hm?"
He smiled slightly and nodded. They clinked their shot glasses again and swallowed the alcohol without a flinch.
Sunwoo and Suzy began to watch Transformers randomly since it was on TV and the girl turned out to be a big fan. They both drank their irish coffees and Suzy already felt a little tipsy from the mixture.
She glanced at Sunwoo sitting on the ground, comfortably leaning his back onto the couch as he laughed at Sam Witwicky trying to control autobots from destroying his dad's garden.
Suzy suddenly got up from her chair, which made the boy turn her way. Sunwoo was caught off guard when she sat in between his legs, leaning her back on his chest but he smiled to himself and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her even closer as she completely melted in his embrace.
Sunwoo kissed her head before leaning his cheek on it as the two continued to watch the movie.
So much for not wanting a relationship, yet both acting like they've been in one for quite some time.
"I'm afraid of what Younghoon might do to you."
Sunwoo chuckled. "So suddenly?"
"Sorry, I just can't stop thinking about it."
"Don't worry, I can handle Younghoon."
"But what if he does something completely crazy?"
"Baby, he's not a mafia member, relax. I can handle him." He kissed her head again which calmed her down a little, but not completely.
She knew how much the two hated each other already and worried how she probably made it so much worse.
"You know.. I really like this."
"Like what?"
He leaned over to her ear. "Having you in my arms like that."
Suzy giggled as his breath against her ear felt ticklish which he noticed right away and took advantage of it, tickling the girl everywhere.
"Please don't! I hate it so much!" She raised her voice as she threw herself from side to side.
Eventually Suzy ended up on the floor, laughing hysterically while Sunwoo smiled from ear to ear, hovering on top of her.
Their eyes met and the boy slowly stopped teasing her which made her giggle less too. Eventually, the two just looked each other in the eyes, breaking the eye contact every now and then to glance at each other's lips.
Suzy grabbed onto Sunwoo's t-shirt and pulled him closer. His full lips tasted as sweet as always - she didn't know how it even worked like that - and moved in sync with hers. The kiss began to be more intense within seconds, making Sunwoo slip his tongue in to which Suzy responded right away. The boy suddenly moved to her neck, leaving small pecks up and down her skin.
"Sunwoo,"
"Hm?" He hummed in between kissing her collar bone.
"I don't think we should do anything crazy today."
He stopped and looked up into her eyes. She seemed rather worried of how he would react so she added "you know, with everything that happened."
The boy shook his head and smiled. He gently moved a strand of hair from her face. "You don't have to say anything, I get it." He pecked her lips quickly. "But I have to tell you, you make it pretty hard for me to control myself." He smirked while glancing at her tinted lips.
She bit hers without even realizing. "You make it hard for me too."
"Oh, yeah?" He smiled flirtatiously.
"Let me welcome you topless next time too and see how you feel." She teased.
He raised his brows. "I can't wait to find out."
"Huh?! I was just kidding!"
"No, no, you have to do that now, it sounded like a promise!"
"No, it didn't!"
The two teased each other cutely as smiles didn't want to leave their faces. As much as Suzy felt terrible about hurting Younghoon in the worst way, she felt unbelievably happy whenever she was with Sunwoo - he made all her problems disappear. Just by simply looking at him - his gummy smile, big, doe, sparkly eyes, cute nose and most beautiful, full lips - she felt the happiest.
they're so cute 🤭
