As the screen lit up, they were all surprised to be met by a shadowy face.
"Hi there!" came the familiar voice of Author, soothing the thoughts of those who panicked about the screen being hacked by Karma. The Color Gang waved at her in their own ways, Red being the most enthusiastic as well as the most noticeable. Author immediately glanced at his direction and gave a giggle. "Hello to you too, Red!"
"Anywho, I actually have a reason for being here," Author said, her tone switching down for a moment. At the mention, nearly everybody understood that this was about Karma (Bie had around zero ideas), as the tension from earlier immediately returned.
"While you were all in the kitchen, I was busy rearranging the code and adding a bit more to it. For example, when you're feeling hungry, the theater will take a meal that's based around your likings and send it in front of you. If it's candy, it'll appear on your hand," she paused. "Also, nobody is allowed in the break dimension for the time being."
Author averted her gaze. "...As some of you may already know, you've just had an encounter with Karma."
Frantic whispers and panicked muttering were exchanged at the information.
Alan flinching back horribly at the mention.
While he does have sentient stick figures living in his PC, he's still a normal human. He isn't used to this sudden change of events. God-like beings around him left, right, and center? Him meeting his stick figures? Meeting literal Minecraft mobs? Some abandoned deity called "Karma" now targeting somebody? And to think that, just a few hours ago, he was still in his room, minding his own business.
"...And, from that alone, I can tell that Karma is targeting someone in the theater," Author looked down to the ground at the fearful yelling, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear (not that anybody was attentive enough to see it, anyway). "I highly doubt that it's anybody in the color gang as well as the people of Monster School. Yes, that includes you too, Herobrine."
She seemed to type something down before silence reigned over the theater. The inhabitants looked at each other, alarmed, but their heads darted back to the screen.
"Sorry, I just need you all to listen to me." Author cleared her throat. "I've watched everything about you all and I've deduced on who may or may not be Karma's target. Those who are not possible targets include Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Monster School, and Herobrine."
Those who were mentioned immediately sighed in relief.
"Purple, Alan, or The Second Coming might be Karma's target but the chance is very low." Purple let out a wavering breath, still shaken by what he had done to His Majesty. The theater seemed to understand this well enough as it sent King Mango three columns away from Purple.
Sec shifted in his seat and held Green's hand for comfort. Green squeezed his hand reassuringly, his other one holding onto Alan's.
"Those who have a high chance of being Karma's target are The Dark Lord, The Chosen One, King Mango, and Victim."
Alan gaped at the last name. Victim? Fuck, he forgot he was here...
At the confused and mildly horrified stares Victim received, he awkwardly giggled and gave a closed-eyes smile.
Alan gazed at him warily.
"Also, speaking of The Chosen One, you must be wondering why he's on the floor." At the mention, all eyes went back to Cho, still unconscious atop the stairs. A snap was heard, and then, he reappeared on his seat, still sound asleep.
