Kai's POV

There's no place for me here now. All I beg for is for them to take care of Ace. Ace's a big part of my life, as I've treated him like a real son. Taking up some part of their story was such an honor and for me to leave it, it'll probably leave a deep scar. For me this might be the easiest way to heal what's broken and to help them gain what's lost faster. I'll live separate for awhile, I think I'd be on long way far from the dorm to think things over. This will be hard, I know, but I will do anything to fix the thing's I've been in trouble for.

Living room. Family Meeting.

Everyone sitting beside each other silently, mixing up sadness and happiness all at the same time. The twins presence in the center of them is the only thing that keeps the smiles on their face for now. After facing a horde of challenges, it's now finally coming to an end. Each one is very thankful for everything that happened, thanking Him for giving them strength and guidance that they needed to surpass all of it and now that the decision came to an end, they all can't help but accept the fact that they should let one go.

The question now is, "Is this final?" Suho asks him for the very last draw, no buckles, no stuttering, just straight and clear. Kris breathes deeply, holding onto Young's hand tighter. He looks back to his fiance and smiled, "Young and I talked about it..." Along with Kris, Young presented them an eyesmile. "I'm staying 'til the concert ends." Instead of a pretty deep up-side-down smile, they were left sighing heavily because of relief.

Flashforward.

Today Kris has to go to some presscon finalizing his leave and clearing more issues implementing the other members.

"To reveal, the situation was you leaving the group after the concert ends, right? Now that the concert has ended, is it time?"

"Sadly, yes. That's the main reason why we are all gathered here, I want everyone to know that I'll be leaving sooner than I expected. To all my beloved fans, to those who supports EXO, all I can say is sorry, thank you and I love you. Sorry for leaving this early. Thank you for everything and I love you for doing that."

"Uhm, how's your mother?"

"My mom's doing great, hope the marriage help her get well as much as possible."

"Is it true that you're marrying this girl just because your mom wanted to see you married before she dies?"

"My mom isn't going to die, I'll leave you with that. I love my girl, there's no contract implemented."

"Is it true that you already have kids?" It took a while for Kris to answer, that made the crowd stumble in silence. They were whispering ear to ear with such a thought of Kris having kids, but had hid them for a long time. After some time, Xiumin and Chen had gone up the stage with Ae Yoon and Ace wearing their face masks. Ae Yoon rushes down on the way to sit on his father's lap, excitingly snatching the microphone saying, "I feel blessed." Kris smiles, thinking where did Ae Yoon learnt that phrase. On the other hand, Ace was having hard time letting go of his Chen shushu. The closure problem between him and Kris turned a lot more critical compared to what they were before.

Going back to the huge crowd, they all gasp heavy air and the flashy lights started to blind everyone on stage. Arranging the mic after Ae Yoon snatched it. Kris continues, "These are my kids, they're fraternal twins." Their eyes widened, seeing some resemblances were impossible. Hence the fact that they're adopted, makes it more understandable.

Far from Kris someone raised her hand to interrogate, "They're adopted, right?" She continues, "Where were they the whole time? Why are they wearing masks?"
