Morticia zoned off into space while walking to the copy room. She shook herself back into reality after Oscar calling her name twice and not hearing it. He touched the side of her arm.
O: Hey are you okay?
M: Oh yeah no worries i'm okay
O: Okay just making sure *he smiles before walking away*
The demeanor between the two of them has been off ever since he saw the professor and Gisele. Morticia had the feeling he definitely told his husband and it was already around the whole school. Walking back from the copy room she just had the feeling that every person she made contact with was staring and judging at her. If this were the case she would be fired before Gisele because she was the higher up and essentially "knew" better.
All the thoughts spiraling through her head of getting fired, Gisele getting fired, never seeing Gisele again, and losing her kids from getting fired. One thought firing up tater the other.
The next thing she knew she was opening her eyes laying in a hospital bed.
She opened her eyes to both her children hovering over her. Gomez was sitting off to one side of the bed and so was Gisele on the other side.
M: What happened? *she said as the doctor walked in*
Doctor: *while making eye contact with everyone* Morticia you were indeed severely dehydrated and pass out unconscious. It is nothing to be severely concerned about
Gisele walked over to the bed grabbing hold of the older woman's hand.
Doctor: This kind of thing can happen to anyone. We just filled you up and IV fluids and antibiotics.. We can discharge you tomorrow morning as you will need to be here for a twenty-four hour observation
M: *she nodded*
G: And what can we do?
GA: Yes Doctor what can WE do *he said standing up*
Doctor: *looking puzzled* Well only one family member can stay with the patient over night so you guys will have to deicide that amounts yourselves...
Wednesday and Pugsley at the same time look at Gisele. Basically saying without saying it should be here.
GA: Shit fine then I was only here because if the children...
The sign was taken. Gisele was the one that stayed. Visitors hours were now about to end Gomez and the children said there goodbyes and left. The two women were now alone.
G: Are you okay?
M: I think so
G: Ugh you need to take better care of yourself... *she said grabbing the older woman's hand*
M: I know I know
