G: Yes let's go

M: Yes ma'am

The older woman starts the drive to the restaurant. Throughout the drive both women talk small talk back and forth. Morticia had both hands on the wheel majority of the drive. She pulls up to a red light and puts her hand on Gisele's thigh. She continues to rub her thigh while driving. It sends butterflies to the young woman's stomach. The feeling of nervousness wondering what's coming next.

The fact that the women have never fucked sober. And also don't even remember the one time they did because they were both blacked out drunk. You know what they say drunk words are sober thoughts.

      The older woman pulls up to the Italian restaurant. She gets out of the car and walks around to open Gisele's door. The blonde is flattered. Then again the older woman opens the door of the restaurant for the blonde.

    The women get seated in a corner booth with nobody else nearby.

Waiter: Good evening ladies Could I get you started with some water? *he says while holding a glass pitcher*

M: Yes please *she smirks at Gisele and answered for the both of them*

     The waiter pours into both of there glasses and walks away. The women both start browsing the menu.

G: Everything looks so good

M: It does but you know what else does- never mind time and place *she looks up smiling at Gisele*

G: *she makes eye context with the older woman*

M: Im sorry for joking so much.... but in all seriousness I would like us to spend more time together so see how we feel about each other that's if your feeling the same way?

G: Oh uhh yes we should

M: That didn't sound to convincing...

G: No I was just expecting you to say something like you just wanted some friends with benefits type situation or we're gonna try to cut ties

M: Ohh no I couldn't see myself doing something that's not kinda serious... you know considering I just got out of a marriage less than a year ago

G: That's od *hahah*  I would expect the opposite since getting out of a marriage

M: Well maybe in the instance of a normal divorce but I knew since I was younger that I liked women but the internalized homophobia of thinking I had to be attracted to men was always there until I kinda just had this epiphany one night laying in bed that I was making myself do all these things in life just because I thought I was just meant to do them.... Obviously the wasn't the case so slowly after that was when I realized I should be living my truth and not care what thoughts are in my head or the thoughts of everyone else

G: Ohh well in that case it makes total sense I had no clue you went through all that. I'm proud of you for coming out and living your truth though I know it can be hard and especially since you have kids I could imagine it's been difficult... I'm glad you felt you could convey all of that to me
