The water crashed gently against the bank, colliding with the sand and pulling some down as it pulled away from the land. It was a piece quiet ambiance, paired with the sounds of the nearby town and the sound of birds flying through the sky.
A wolf, draped in dark cloth, sat upon the bank. A whistled tune trailed from his mouth, pausing once a shadow approached him.
"La Vida."
"La Muerte. What brings you to the water side?" A jaguar, donned in a green Huipil, sits down next to him."I'm waiting for someone."
"I wouldn't be so quick to assume, Lobo. This has the opportunity to be seen a different way."To their suprise, a small bit of struggle can be seen upon the surface of the water. Then, a little puppy dog's head erupts, gasping for air and swimming to the bank. Once upon the bank, the animal seems to rest for a moment, taking deep breaths over and over.
"My, my. You appear to be right. This time." The wolf conceedes, leaning back against the sand.
"See? I'm right a little bit of the time."The puppy then slowly stood himself up, shaking the water off and looking around.
"Alright! I'm it! I'll find ya, don't worry!" The dog bravely calls out, trotting up the sand."Buena suerte, cachorro!" The Jaguar calls out, with the puppy smiling up at her.
"Gracias, señorita!!" He responds before hurrying away. They watched him go until he dissapeared into the nearby town, before looking back at the water.
"Anything else happening today?"
"A cat will most likely lose its 8th life today."
"Oh?"
Suddenly, the sounds of battle could be heard. The two looked up, seeing a legendary battle between the famed Puss in boots and what appeared to be a giant living statue.
"Oh...Ya veo. You gonna go watch?" The Jaguar turns to look at the wolf, being suprised to see he was no longer at her side.Looks like her question was answered.
