"Good people, accept this golden gift from Puss in Boots!" Puss exclaimed as the cart quickly rode away from the crowd.

Amidst the cheers of the crowd, a simple whistle rang over it. However, this whistle could visibly make his hair stand on end.

The wolf.

The Wolf had held two coins over his own eyes, taunting Puss as he panicked.

The Jaguar and the Wolf then watched the wagon speed off, looking around at the cheering crowd before turning to look at each other.

"Where do you think he's going now, La Muerte?" The Jaguar mused, "and why do you think he's got that awful beard?"

"I heard talk about him and an associate of his stealing some sort of map." The Wolf responded, turning one of the coins over in his paws, "And about the beard....I got nothing. Its horrendous."

"What would he need a map for?"

"You rememeber that wishing star that came down a short time ago?" The Wolf proposed, tossing the coin up and catching it, holding it up to the Jaguar.

"Yes...what about it?"
"If that map leads him to the wishing star, he could technically wish for this to not be his last life, could he not?"

"He wouldn't..."
"It's not below him, Gatita."

The two then turned and walked away from the crowd, dipping into an alleyway to further their discussion.

"Look, I took him for an arrogant show-off and a coward, but I didn't assume he'd go that far! To go as far as to just WISH for more lives like their NOTHING!" She groaned, rubbing her temples as she paced back and forth.
"No offense, but really? You didn't?" The Wolf then asked.

He was quickly cut off by the Jaguar slamming her fist against the wall angrily, resulting in vines and flowers to grow from the area she hit.

The two stare at the plant growth for a second before the Jaguar rubs her paws of her face and grumbles "I forgot I could do that."

"Anyways..all we have to do now is catch up to that gato. Any ideas?"

With that, the Jaguar's ears perk up.

"Actually, I do." She says, reaching down and pulling up a vine that was somehow attactched to her dress.

"Lets hear it." The Wolf chuckles as he rubs his paws together.

"Lets just say, in the commotion, a leaf just so happened to attach itself to Puss's boots. And that leaf just so happened to be attached to a vine, which coincidentally happens to end right here." She then holds up the vine, showing the Wolf that it appears to be growing still.

"Gatita, you really amaze me sometimes."
"Gracias, Lobo. I do have good ideas sometimes. Shall we be off?"

"Ladies first." The Wolf snickered as the Jaguar began to follow the vine, him quickly trailing after her.
