chapter 7: teamwork, the spy kabuto!

On site only Sakura stood by the building, all three girls meet each others gaze, sophia waves with a lazy smile on her lips "hey! Where's naruto? Has the new team members showed up?" Sakura shakes her head

"hey, and no. It's just been me" she folds her arms looking around
Min sighs leaning against the building "min-chan! Sakura-chan! Sophia-chan!" The blonde mass of hair raced towards the girls "hey!" Min greets the boy with a bigger smile
Like Sakura, naruto scouted the area with his eyebrows furrowed "this is where we're suppose to meet up right?"
"Clearly" sophia laughs
"But no one's here yet. Jeez did granny tsunade really get new members for our team?"

Sakura argued back "it will be alright. We just got here a little early, there's still some time left before we're suppose to meet up"
"Well, I hope they're not late all the time, like kakashi sensei" he says scratching the back of his head "you know you love kakashi being late" sophia chimes in

Min nearly didn't pick up on it, the hair on the back of her neck stood, it was small but two new chakra signature was enough for her to sense the person's in question are close by.
A slender, pale, black haired male came out from the darkness behind the pillars of the building. His clothes consists of mostly dull dark grey, the guy approached the trio with a closed smile. A smile so fake sophia thought it was nearly sarcastic
"Hello" he greets

"You!" Naruto barked, pointing a finger at the new comer "you were the one on the roof earlier!"
The three females look between the boys in confusion

A new male came out beside the black haired guy, this man looked a bit older, dark eyes with brown hair dressed in standard konoha jonin uniform, a forehead protector framed his entire face. "Uh it's a pleasure to meet the three of you. From now on I'll be taking kakashi sans place"
"Do you know him naruto?" Sakura questioned naruto, not acknowledging the temporary sensei, min took a moment to look both the guys over

"Yeah, this jerk attacked me for no reason along with choji and shikamaru !"
Naruto grabbed a kunai from his pouch, the black haired male maneuvered his arm over his shoulder, looking to be grabbing a handle on his back
"Alright that is enough naruto" the brown haired man spoke taking a few steps forward into the light
"Oh yeah. Who are you anyway?" Naruto asked with attitude
"I think he said he's taking kakashi's spot" sophia answers
The man nods "Yes, I'll be filling in as team captain until kakashi sans recovered from the hospital. Please call me yamato"
"Captian Yamato?" Sakura tests his name on her tongue recovering another nod
"You five are going to be comrades now.so you better learn to get along with each other"
It didn't come as a shock to min and sophia, naruto and Sakura on the other hand could not hide their shocked expressions at yamatos speech.

"What?! Comrads with him?" Naruto points a finger at the accused
The boy released his hand from the handle of his sword and replaces his straight face with another fake smile "I'm sorry, but you see, i knew we were going to be team Mates, I wanted to see how strong you were"
"Well that was pretty stupid, you didn't have to go that far" naruto puts his kunai away
"I was curious to see how strong you'd be, now I know your not packing anything major"
Sophia's eyes narrowed into a glare of her own hearing naruto shout "what did you say?!" He struggled from being held back by Sakura

"What are you trying to say about our best friend" min glares beside sophia. The boy looked over at min and sophia for the first time meeting her dangerous glint in her eyes "new team mate or not, I'll cut you where you stand if you say one more word about naruto"
"Min! Both of you stop he's on our team now! We can't fight with him"
Sakura holds naruto when she speaks to the boy "and you, that wasn't very nice"
The boy chuckled slightly "oh?"

"Your not winning any friends talking like that"
"And if you speak like that about any of my friends again, especially naruto" sophia stands up properly squaring her shoulders "I will make you wish you kept your mouth quiet" her voice dropped to a low tone.
