Chapter 11 Naruto's training and cockblocking

"so you are the new team member" kakashi stared at sai from his hospital bed, laying right beside him curled in a little ball after the walk the team made to the hospital, lay min enjoying her husband's familiar warmth

Sophia leaned herself against the window, not even surprised he still had his mask on his face "yes sir" both sai and naruto rubbed their cheeks where sakura got both of the boys with her fists before sophia or min could get to her "hey sakura, come here" he whispers to sakura something before sakura jumps back "no no, its nothing like that. we are all just getting along just dandy" min and sophia both scoff  "you could sound more convincing"

"kakashi sensei we.."

"i know, caption yamato told me everything, sasuke too" kakashi sensei cut naruto off mid sentence "we are running out of time to get him home, at this rate we could lose him for good" sophia tensed up at narutos words, keeping her eyes on the outside of the window "but with my power there is no way. i wouldn't be able to bring him back, sasuke has gotten too strong for me"

kakashi sensei read his book with min peaking over his shoulder reading alongside him replying "well in that case i guess you need to get stronger then that"

"But with sasuke-kuns growth, its unnatural, i spoke with lady tsunade, she thinks they could be using forbidden jutu's or maybe drug enhancement, after all they do have kabuto with them. no book in the world could explain the kind of person who performs experiments on human beings" sakura explains to kakashi sensei

"which is why the only thing we can do is build our own growth" kakashi throws back

"i've been trying to grow taller for a few years now shishi, i don't think that works" kakashi sensei laughs at Mins ruffling her hair
"how can we do that?" sakura asks.

kakashi kept reading his book while holding min closer to him answering sakura "do you think i have been doing nothing but sitting here? i've been brainstorming, and, i have an idea. however what i came up with is more suitable to naruto. or rather i should say it is the only thing that will work with naruto. in fact if this training pans out naruto you could even surpass mine"

"hold on, i would be surpassing you sensei?" naruto repeated

"that's right" kakashi sensei confirmed and continued "ill be working with you one on one the whole time. and it will be training you have never experienced before" while kakashi sensei kept talking,when the door to kakashi senseis room opens revealing  asuma and his team "how you feeling today kakashi?"

"asuma sensei! you really should try knocking!"

choji waved with the arm that wasn't holding a chip bag "whats up guys"

"well if it isnt naruto sakura, min and sophia looks like your mission must be- wait i know you, you are that guy from" shikamaru didn't finish his sentence, but he gritted his teeth looking at sai

"you know sai?" Sakura asks, looking between sai and shikamaru

"hello there" sai greets with a smile "this guy got the jump on us before team kakashi's mission" shikamaru pointed out

"i was simply seeing what i was working with, i..i apologise for scaring you" sai struggled to get the words out

"i see, thats what that was all about. i guess ill buy that" choji happily took his explanation taking a chip from his bag and eating it "my name is sai, feel free to be casual"

standing near  sakura and ino, sophia heard ino whisper "hey, that new guy is pretty cute don't you think? even kind of looks like sasuke" ino giggles

sakura harshly whispered back "on the outside, maybe, but on the inside no way, he can't read peoples emotions" sophia stepped forward covering her mouth mimicking the girls "sakura, sasuke also sucked at emotional things. he just gets a pass because hes sasuke. but sai is very close to sasuke in alot of ways" ino nods accepting it, but sakura shakes hers "how would you know!" sakura snapped
