chapter 8: naruto vs orochimaru

A/N this chapter is for my best friend who's birthday just passed and promised a chapter, now don't kill me I did it I'm a little late but still

Instead of thinking, sophia uses the broken bridge bits to climb up until she reached the side of the bridge where naruto and orochimaru stood. Behind her min, yamato, and sai jumped back from the impact, sakura landing backwards hitting her head knocking her out cold.

The bridge on both sides began to crumble "Sakura!" Yamato calls out to the knocked out pink haired ninja.

Instead of using the proper bridge, she used the edge bars like monkey bars to reach over. Before Naruto collapsed the rest of the bridge she jumps over, the chakra already concentrated in her feet, she runs up the rest of long cliff, flipping her body forward to land on proper land.

Trying not to get hit by narutos loose chakra she followed him and orochimaru closely

Meanwhile still with her plan in action, min wraps a rope around a shuriken as the bridge moved under her shoes nearly losing her balance.

Feeling the bridge break, yamato tries to stop the bridge from falling completely to keep Sakura stable. Sai disappears jumping off the bridge "sai!" Yamato calls out "he's useless he isn't going to grab her!" Min yells running over the side of the bridge, throwing her shuriken at the edge so it was stuck enough so it wouldn't release with heavy weight

Reaching the end sakuras body fell. Min doesn't hesitate to jump, going head first min falls rapidly towards the limp girl, letting the rope fall beside min praying she had enough to get close. Min reached her arm out when she got closer to sakura, with one movement she roughly grabs sakura around her waist

Min held onto the rope with her other hand tight. The force of the rope and Sakura strain coming to a stop, the rope strongly holds as min and sakura dangle pinching mins skin of her palm. Ignoring the pain min examined the height where they stopped

Min sighs looking up "thank fuck" min holds sakura tighter and begins to climb the rope, praying sakura doesn't slip from her arm.

"Min! Are you and Sakura alright!" Yamato calls out still holding his jutsu "were fine! Hold the bridge a little longer! I'm climbing up" knowing she's on a time limit min picked up her pace

Sophia still followed behind naruto and orochimaru, realising how far she's gone, sophia ducks down stabbing her dagger into the ground. Using a imaginary timer in her head, a large explosion followed by stronger winds then before try to pick the girl up from the floor. Sophia holds onto her dagger tighter refusing to let the wind take her away

The wind slowly died down giving sophia sight and gravity to put her feet back onto the ground. Hurrying, sophia follows narutos burst of chakra to a field where in the middle of a man made hole naruto stood, now with four tails waving around, orochimaru stands on a tree branch above 

Narutos skin began to peel, and covering itself into a black ball "holy fuck" sophia gasps

Back with min and yamato, min got sakura to safety with yamato by her side, min sighs in relief "I can't wait to use this against her" min giggles out loud

"You and sophia are different, right?" Min glances over at yamato "how did you figure that out Sherlock?" Min helps move sakura into a comfortable position "lady tsunade explained to me about you and sophia being from a different dimension, there has been word spreading about it for years but she confirmed it for me" Min clicked her teeth, so it was true, word has spread about them being somewhere else "what else do you know?" She asked

He replies "that you and sophia know the future"

Again min clicked her teeth "I guess word does spread" so if it was a rumor surely orochimaru did send those henchmen on them because he heard the rumors, who knows when the akatsuki will want them too. To know the future is a gold mine for anyone looking for power or wants to know how to get it, with sophia and min it would be like having a cheat sheet for the whole game
