The sun in konoha beamed, sophia stayed leaning against a tree as naruto trained up ahead, her eyes stinging. The sun above dulled with dark clouds hiding the yellow sun

"What should we do now? Stop the training?" Sophia heard yamato ask Kakashi. "Well, if thats what he wants to do"

Sophia concentrated on the clouds above forming. Her lip trembling 'so...she was too late' the dark haired girl hid her face

Slowl, rain fell around the shinobi. "Damn it I dont have time to waste!" Naruto exclaimed creating more shadow clones

"We got another one!" A naruto clone yelled as a clone was covered in the ninja tails fox chakra, slamming chaos in its wake destroying some of the clones "captain Yamato! Help us!"

Yamato siezed the out of control clone with wood hands surrounding it before it disappeared leaving no trace of the chakra

Kakashi walked up to the tired naruto, asking "are you okay?"

Naruto didnt answer him "it's been one full day since we started trying to add the wind change in nature to the rassengan. And you using two hundred shadow clones now. You've just achieved what the average ninja would take to fourty eight hundred hours to do. But thats not enough for you" kakashi states

"Its impossible" naruto replied looking at kakashi through the rain "I cant wrap my head around the chakra control technique, and it feels like two hundred shadow clones is my limit, no way. Im never going to be able to master it"

"It takes all my concentration to form the basic rassengan in the first place. Adding a change in nature to that, its just too much"

Sophia looked in the distance of the forest her ears blocking the conversation out. Ignoring sai and sakura that stood more in the wood line watching naruto. Sai had a ink drawn umbrella over his and sakuras head hiding them from the rain

Kakashis talking helped pep naruto back into training. It felt like her ears were underwater. When she came back with no min, Kakashi asked her where she was, sophia didnt respond, she sat herself on the ground on her arrival and had just watched naruto train

She did inform lady tsunade to let her know Min was not in the village. Tsunade did look at sophia expecting her to explain why, but sophia left the hokage office without letting anything slip

The day fell and the moon hit fast. The morning felt like it had sped around so fast sophia begged in her head time, time to not have to hear the news, to hear it be real. Naruto was up early concentrating using three clones on one rassengan that kakashi looked over

"I dont know how else to say this, but im starting to really take a liking to you kiddo"

Sophia coughed, her laugh choking her "oh fuck I forgot about that" sophia laughed at kakashis comment. Naruto looked stunned and back away "dont say gross stuff like that out of the blue sensei! The jutsu i worked on all day got messed up cause you freaked me out!"

Kakashi stuttered walking up to naruto "I didnt mean it like that" "Hey woah! You stay away!" Naruto refused

"There aint words to express how I feel" sophia laughed harder at kakashis playful manor

Naruto on the other hand looked horrified and tried to slide away from kakashi as the grown man walked slowly towards naruto

A jounin appeared infront of Yamato. Sophias laughter died "no" she whispered

The new presence stopped kakashi and narutos antics

"Whats going on? Sophia-chan?" Naruto noticed the girls eyes were glassed over, tears threatening to spill with a lip tremble
