Sitting on the chair, I am ready to take my yearbook photo. Smiling at the camera, I suddenly see Stiles in the corner of my eyes. "Lynn-" he starts and I see the photo being taken.
He quickly turns around and sighs, looking at me. "My bad, sorry, go ahead, look pretty." He says and I roll my eyes. "Shoo." I say and he finally leaves. Ready to retake the photo but Stiles interrupts again.
And again.
And again.
And again.
"Stiles!" I yell at him, while he keeps muttering excuses. "That was a good one!" I say annoyed and sigh. "You're still on the photo," the photographer says and I sigh. "Nevermind." I stand up and walk over to our table.
"I'm sorry." Stiles says and I roll my eyes. "You ruined my photo." I say and sit down. "Why would I wanna ruin your yearbook photo?" He asks and I look up, not moving. "Maybe because you haven't signed up for your own photo? I don't know you tell me."
He sulks, but sits down. I was sitting next to him and Malia, while Lydia and Scott were busy in books. "Yes I did." He says, showing us a blank copy of the form. "It's blank?" Malia says and Stiles looks back at the form, frowning.
"Uhh-"
"Ir maybe you're sublimting the stress of graduating by avoiding key milestones." Scott says and we all frown at him. Where did that language come from?
"Psych paper." He explains and we all nod. "Oh," I say and nod. "Hey so, the deputy searched the car. No slugs. No exit hole. And the address Alex gave my dad. It's an abandoned house." He says and I look at him when no one reacts.
"Come on! Missing parents, suspicious guy on horseback, magic bullet. Who's coming with?" He asks and I look at the rest.
"I still got to take my photo." Was Malias excuse.
"Yeah not interested." Was Lydia's.
"I cannot miss any more classes." He says and I scoff. "Scott- scott-" Stiles tries but Scott interrupts him. "I missed 38 last semester, and Lydia's mom is the only reason I'm still in school, I can go after school?" Scott suggests and I smirk, standing up.Stiles doesn't even need to ask me, he knows I'm coming with. "You know what? We'll just take Liam." I say instead and we all look at Liam, passionately making out with Hayden. Ew.
"Yeah we're not taking Liam." Stiles says and sighs. "Hey can I get a candid?" The girl who took the photos asks and we all nod. "Uh, no-" Stiles tries but I swat his back.
We all sit on the bench and I sit on the table behind Scott and Stiles. "Okay fine, if you can explain to me, why this is blue, I'll let it go." He says giving the piece of glass to Scott.
"Everyone smile." She says and we do, before the bell rings.
. . .
Me and Stiles were waiting to come out of the room of the teacher he was talking with. "So, who do you think our mystery guy is?" I ask and Stiles shrugs. "Well, supernatural for sure." I nod.
The glass was blue. It must have been some sort of chemical thing for it to tint this way, but I have no idea what. Scott comes out of the room and I smirk, while we walk out.
"Thirty nine?" I ask and he nods. "Thirty nine." Before we could even make it out of the school Mrs. Martin turns us around. "Neither one of you thee is going anywhere. Thirty eight classes Scott, I had to beg the superintendent." She says and I sigh.
"Mrs. Martin, Scott is the sworn protector of Beacon Hills." Stiles argues and Mrs. Martin stops walking. "He can protect it at 3.30." She says and i nod, walking.
"We're not waiting for three thirty, right?"
We did in fact wait till three thirty.
