Stress's POV
After leaving Tommy to "terrain my base". I headed over to Xisuma's base. He said that he had something important to discuss with me and Mumbo.

I was pretty nervous, and for good reason. I mean—Xisuma calling me and Mumbo only meant one thing...It had to be about Tommy. We were the first ones to interact with him so it made sense.

What if he found something about Tommy and it was bad? I mean, Tommy didn't seem to be a bad kid, just jumpy and easily spooked, but you never know.

I was a bit lost in my thoughts when suddenly I heard Xisuma calling for me. I looked down to see I had flown past the base a little bit.

'Whoops' I thought quickly turning around towards Xisuma's base and landing in the front yard.

"WATCH OUT—" I heard someone call. I moved out of the way quickly and laughed as Mumbo collided with the ground.

"Ow—" Mumbo groaned, which only furthered my laughter.

"Come on Mumbo," I said reaching out a hand to him. Mumbo grabbed my hand, and I helped him get up from the ground.

I turned to see Xisuma chuckling by the door. He looked tired and stressed.

Mumbo dusted himself off and said "sooo. What's up X? What's this meeting about?"

"Well, as i'm sure you've figured out-" he paused seeing Mumbo's confused expression. "—or I guess, one of you has figured out. It's about Tommy."

We both were silent. which was weird—for Mumbo.

Xisuma sighed, "Let's go inside."

———————————————————————————

As they walked in, Stress took in her surroundings. She had been in Xisuma's house a couple times but it looked a bit different from normal. For one— it was horrendously messy. Papers were scattered about, not a single spec of the floor was clean.

Frankly, Stress had to move half of those papers to even make it close to Xisuma's desk. Meanwhile, Mumbo just gave up and sat down on the papers.

"Sorry about the mess," Xisuma said sheepishly.

"Mess is an understatement." Mumbo muttered.

"Well...so what happened? What did you find?" I asked, addressing the elephant in the room.

"Well Mumbo..you were right."

We both jumped up in shock.

"HE WAS?!"
"I WAS?!"
We both shouted at the same time.

"I mean— of course I was haha....which part?"

Xisuma chuckled lightly. "The grian part."

"Tommy's...grian?" I asked slowly.

"I'm..not 100% sure. He shares a similar code to Grian— but it seems someone's tampered with his code. I was thinking of looking through his memory code but...that just seems immoral."

"..maybe we could talk to Tommy about all this?" Mumbo asked thoughtfully.

"I don't know..Tommy's pretty secretive, if he does tell us anything I doubt it'll be about Grian."

"He's staying at your base, right Stress?" Xisuma asked.

"Yeah, he is. I'll keep a watch out for any signs that he is Grian, but I think he's leaving soon."

"What??" Mumbo turned his head so hard I sounded like something broke.

"...he's leaving?" Xisuma asked.

"Ah— I don't mean the server. I just meant my house. He's been gathering a lot of supplies lately."

"Hmmm..we could use this as evidence. Mumbo, you know Grian's building style the best, could you have a look at Tommy's house after he finishes?"

Mumbo nodded his head quickly. "Sure!"

"Alright then," Xisuma paused. "I'll keep looking through the server files to see if there's anything else I can find. Stress, if you could, please check up on him every so often. Mumbo, keep your space for now until he finishes the house. I know your excited but we don't him running off on us."

Mumbo visibly deflated. "Alright..."

———————————————————————————
After leaving Xisuma's house, I had a lot of thinking to do. Tommy looked like grian, had a couple of mannerisms that were the same but acted completely different from what I've seen so far. Not to mention, he's younger than Grian...how does that work??

Suddenly, I fell down a hole.

"AHHHH!" I closed my eyes shut.

Suddenly, I wasn't falling anymore. I opened my eyes to see Tommy setting me down on the ground after landing.

"Are you okay Stress?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah, i'm fine.." I replied still in shock.
"You're an amazing flier, Tommy!"

"Oh— thank you." He replied embarrassingly. "I don't know where I learned to fly. As far as i'm aware, its just instincts because of my dad."

"your..dad.?" She asked slowly. Family seemed to be a touchy topic for Tommy.

"Oh uh— yeah.." he stuttered before muttering "he's an avian" under his breath.

"I see." I replied. "How is the 'terraining' going?" I asked putting quotes over the terraining.

"Oh! I'm done! Youtube tutorials do wonders, I never knew terraining could be so much fun!" He said, his eyes practically lighting up.

"You've never added terrain to your base?" I asked questioningly.

"Mmm. More like I never really built. On my server, we didn't build a lot of fancy buildings. Pretty sure my first building was a dirt house." Tommy replied.

"I see.." oh god. Should I have trusted him to help?
"Should we head over and see then?"

"Sure!" Tommy said, practically bouncing in excitement.

That's where I stopped. Just warning you guys now, I don't have much motivation left for this story.

I want to write more for you guys but I just don't see myself completing this book.

I don't like where the story is going. I don't really have a clear vision where I want it to go as well. I also just think its poorly written.

Feel free to take the basic story idea and use it for whatever.

We'll see if I write another chapter.

Til' next time :D
