Mina's POV

I watched, fascinated, as the person stared at my paintings. The amount of awe in their eyes made me want to give them a hug, but typically, people didn't give random strangers hugs. So, I remained sitting in my comfortable spot on the rooftops, observing.

Uraraka's POV

The painting grew more colorful and elaborate as I continued, and I started to notice little hidden details in the work, a colorful bird, hidden from a simple glance, a small family of deer, and even a person, blending in with a tree. The images were as if looking through glass, as if I could reach out and the paintings would come to life right before my eyes.

Before I knew it, the sun began to set, making it difficult to see the paintings and I'd traveled so far, taken so many turns, that I was completely lost. Darkness engulfed me, and I felt my body go limp as I collapsed.

Mina's POV

I continued to stare at the stranger and didn't even notice the darkness until the girl suddenly disappeared, lost in the shadows.

With a huff, I jumped down from my hiding spot, and conjured a small light in the palm of my hand, hoping I wouldn't startle them, but as I got closer, I figured that wouldn't be an issue.

Toga's POV

I lost the guards somewhere west of the royal castle. The trees were thicker but the ground somewhat familiar. I figured if I kept moving, I'd eventually make it back to the hideout

Urarakas POV

The dreams that followed were familiar, memories that had replayed over and over in my mind through the years.

(12 years prior)

"I'm afraid the sickness won't be easy to cure, if curable at all," explained the doctor, "we can try treatments but they aren't guaranteed to work, and could cause further issues."

"Thank you, that will be all," the queen's face remained unreadable as she dismissed the doctor.

I wanted to cry, to get reassurance from her that i'd be alright, but that was nothing more than a fantasy, something that would never come true.

From that day forward, the king and queen would try countless treatments, potions, spells, therapies, but nothing worked, nothing helped. All that happened were the scars that'd follow each time something new failed, until they covered my body, head to toe.

The citizens stayed in the dark of my condition, even as it got worse, the royal family not wanting to bring any unwanted attention to the health of their daughter, the next queen.

Mina's POV

The girl's face was pale, her body too light to be healthy.

Lifting her up, I carried her down the alley a ways, until I reached a painting of trees with a little wood cabin sitting, tucked away at the top of a sturdy tree.

Reciting an enchantment, my fingers moved to trace a pattern on the brick, the air hummed as I moved through the spell.

Finishing, I took a tiny step back, pressing my whole palm on the cool brick. Instead of being solid, the wall became a mist, separating itself to allow a passage through. Without hesitation, I adjusted my hold on the girl and stepped through the wall.

Wow, I'm so proud of myself for just sitting down and writing a chapter, it's been WAY too long and I've missed it so much.

Q: What's your favorite broadway play?

A: That's difficult but I'd have to say, Moulin rouge or Heathers!

Lmk your answers in the comments and I hope you have a wonderful day/night!
