The girl sturred, her eyes opening slightly into a squint, her eyes moving quickly to take in her surroundings. She tried to sit up but after a moment, it seemed she was too weak to.

Urarakas POV

I woke up, not on the hard concrete floor, but in a soft bed. The lights were blinding, forcing me to squint, at first I thought I was home, but after surveying my surroundings, that possibility was quickly ruled out. The room was not fancy, for one, and the bed was not the huge canopy I was used to. A young girl with pink spiky hair stood next to the bed, watching me with a curious look.

"Who," my voice sounded small and not quite right.

Clearing my throat, I tried again, "Who are you?"

"Mina Ashido," the girl said, grinning at me, "I found you in the alleyway."

"Ok..." I replied, trying not to seem nervous.

"You must be hungry, stay right there, I'll be right back," she said, skipping out the door.

It's not like I can go anywhere, I thought.

Mina came back quickly, carrying a plate of cookies, which I devoured in such a way that would make my mother pass out. My mother...

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked, praying it wasn't too late to get back before mother sent the royal fleet to find me.

"Oh, maybe 2, 3 hours?" Mina assured, "Once you gain your strength and aren't all pale, you can go."

I sighed with relief, "Thank you."

After a few minutes Mina helped me stand, acting as a crutch so I could walk down the hall.

"You just must meet my friends, they'll love you!" Mina gushed, leading me to the end of the hall to a door that stood ajar. Inside were five people, whom Mina quickly introduced.

"This is Dabi," she said, pointing to a man with scars covering his body and black hair that seemed odd compared to his pale blue eyes.

"Shiggy," another man with light blue hair and a peeling face.

"Sero and his boyfriend Todoroki," Sero as she called him, was a boy with black hair, and the other that sat next to him had half white and half red hair along with a scar on his left side.

"And finally," Mina gestured to the only girl, "This is Toga," She had her blonde hair in buns, her red eyes glancing at me once before turning back to Dabi, to continue the conversation they'd been having.

"Nice to meet you," Sero said, smiling, "It's been awhile since Minas brought a girl home. I think she's embarrassed of us," he fake whispered before laughing.

"Yes, I am," Mina admitted, glaring at the laughing boy, "But you have the completely wrong idea."

"Anyway," I said, trying to change the subject, "Can I go now?"

"Oh? Eager to get away from Mina?" Sero joked.

I fidgeted, "That's not it, I just really need to get home."

Looking at Mina, I could see the hurt in her eyes but she forced a smile, "Yeah, I suppose you've been gone for quite some time."

Togas POV

I stared as the two left, the irony of the two identities was almost laughable. Mina, a thief, and Ochako...Ochako, the princess. The others couldn't know or things would get ugly. They'd probably plot a way to use the poor girl and steal all the kingdom's riches.

"You alright, Toga?" Dabi asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, just thinking about that girl," I smiled, though the smile was far from genuine.

Dabi scoffed, "taking an interest in her already?"

"Perhaps," I sighed.

(About a week later)

3rd person POV

The thieves sat at the meeting table, waiting for Shigaraki to explain why he'd called them, impatience growing.

Finally, Shigaraki made his way to the head of the table, "We have a new mission, one that could make us the richest group in the world."

Urarakas POV

Luckily, mother and father hadn't known I was missing and life went on as normal, until of course, it didn't.

It'd been about 2 weeks since I met Mina but after I got home, it was like it never happened. I tried to find the alley again, but couldn't and no one knew anything about the paintings on the walls.

My parents had continued to attempt to find a suitor but they all seemed dry and fake, only there for the money or control. It would seem none of them could even manage a normal conversation.

I was walking with my latest suitor, a tall blond man with a short temper. He had spent the first five minutes yelling at the servants until I finally had enough and put him in his place. He got nicer after that.

"These gardens are nice," he said, avoiding my look.

"I suppose, they're well taken care of like everything else here," I responded, trying to keep the dislike out of my voice.

The royal family wanted guests to believe our lives were perfect. Everything was closely watched for the slightest hint of imperfection and anything that didn't reach the high standards was thrown away, and forgotten.

"But it doesn't seem like you fit into that everything, do you, princess?" He looked at me this time, his red eyes full of intelligence.

Man this guy was good.

I feigned surprise, "Whatever do you mean?"

"I mean no disrespect, but you haven't been quite here during our meeting. Tell me, is this even what you want?" His voice seemed calm, and patient, nothing like it had been only minutes before.

I laughed, "You, sir, my suitor, are asking me what I want?"

He raised his eyebrow, "shouldn't the discussion of marriage be up to you?"

I scoffed, "it's never been up to me. If I had it my way, I wouldn't be meeting with half the guys I've met. I want someone I actually love, not something fake and one-sided."

He nodded, "As you should. Luckily for me, my parents leave my love life mostly up to me so I can't fully understand your struggle. However, if you can't find someone you love, and you find yourself out of time, perhaps settle for someone friendly, even if you could never fall for them."

"I do believe that most of the men I've met with haven't been genuinely friendly. I start to wonder if it's even possible for the upper class to be kind."

"Maybe you're just looking in the wrong place," he replied, a twinkle in his eye.

As I looked at him, I saw a flash of movement behind him. A girl, crawling towards a bush, bleeding and bruised from head to toe.
