JULIETTE
I started forward, being the next one in line.
My name was called, "Ravens, Juliette!" I took a shaky step forward; everyone in the Hall's eyes were on me. I wished for an alarm to be blared, or perhaps a dementor attack. Anything to distract their intense gazes away from me. I walked nervously to the Sorting Hat, not daring to bring my head up, my eyes locked with the wooden floor. I heard whispers and soft spoken voices surround me.
I took a seat on the small, four-legged, wooden chair that scarcely fit me, and felt a small weight — the sorting hat — get placed on top of my head.
I was startled when I heard it talking in my ear "Hmm another Ravens, I see. Intriguing. You're intelligent yes...brave, yes...passionate, yes...power hungry and strong. You're a hard one, finally a challenge. I'd say Hufflepuff but you don't seem to express much emotion — nor compassion. That won't do. Maybe Ravenclaw, that could be an option. You'd do well, though you need a challenge. Gryffindor is an option. Yes Gryffindor just like your brother..." by the mention of my brother I continued to look around, my eyes now on the table decorated in crimson red.
The hat continued, "...yes but you wouldn't do there either. Control. Yes, that's perfect. Slytherin would suit you very nicely." Finally my eyes landed on Lionel. His hair was shaggy, not like it was this morning when he left out abode. He sat next to two red headed boys, the Weasley twins — who he talks about an awful lot — across from him was a beautiful brunette girl. She must be Amelia, Lionel fancied her immensely.
"SLYTHERIN!" the hat announced, the Slytherin table burst into applause. I followed the noise and took a seat beside Pansy Parkinson. She smiled at me and introduced me to the two other girls she was sitting with.
"This is Daphne Greengrass," she pointed to a beautiful girl. She had platinum blonde hair, more blonde rather than platinum. She had brown eyes, her natural rosy lips were a perfect heart shape, she had the average body, nothing special. She gave me a smile, which I unintentionally did not return. I don't have much experience with smiling. "And this is Tracey Davis," the girl next to Daphne was Tracey, she had short black hair, her head covered in a navy beanie. Her figure was skinny, but too skinny for my particular liking — therefore I hadn't felt insecure about my own self. Her face was round with a defined jaw line. She had a dark pinkish, purple mark on her neck — a hickey. She held her hand out and I shook it.
"I think we're all dorm mates," Tracey commented politely.
I nodded and looked across the table at a dazzling pair of blue eyes. Theodore was gorgeous. I don't know why, yet I just wanted to look at him. He caught my glance and I abruptly looked down at my nonexistent food. I probably looked peculiar now.
The Great Hall's tables were now filled with beef, lamb chops, steak, potatoes, meat pies, sandwiches, puddings, tarts, eclairs and jams. I couldn't take anything, my poor eating habits were taking control of me. Nothing here was of my regular diet.
I heard him chuckle and continue talking to his friends. His voice was deep and attractive.
"Are you going to eat?" Daphne asked me. I shook my head no. I couldn't eat anything here, I heard my fathers voice repeat in my head, "never more than one hundred calories for every meal okay?" his stern voice haunted me.
Eventually, the feast was over, I listened to Pansy and Daphne argue the entire time about who's more attractive, Theodore Nott or Draco Malfoy. I personally thought that Nott was the more attractive of the two, but I kept my mouth shut.
Their argument was still going strong as they walked into the common room. I felt someone walk next to me, I turned to see who it was, Tracey.
"Hey," she chuckled, "who do you think is more handsome? I personally think Malfoy is a total pretty boy, but what about you?"
"That's hard." I lied. I knew Theodore was better by a landslide. But I wouldn't say it aloud. "Appearance wise?'
Tracey nodded waiting eagerly for my answer. I paused and thought the question through. "Maybe Nott." I shrugged.
She nodded and we walked together to the dormitories.
After getting settled in the three other girls and me headed into the dim lit common room, we were in our pajamas. Mine was a white knit shirt, long sleeved. Put together with plaid, small shorts, a copper heart necklace and my straight, platinum hair lay plainly on my shoulders.

I walked out with the — still arguing — Pansy and Daphne. I rolled my eyes at their bickering and took a seat at the opposite couch to them. We were soon joined by a group of boys, Nott, Malfoy, Zabini and one boy with brown, shaggy hair that I recognized from the feast.
"You're still going at it?" I heard a voice in the background. Yes, it was childish that Daphne and Pansy were still bickering about the two guys. I was absorbed in my head when I felt someone sit next to me.
"Who do you think is better looking?" I heard a voice ask me. I turned to see a dazzling pair of gorgeous blue eyes staring at me. His face in his hand.
I stuttered, "Uhh—erm I don't—it's a hard decision." I stuttered nervously.
He smirked, "hard decision eh? I doubt that," his face got closer to mine, "I think you know the answer." I felt his warm breath on my ear. My stomach exploded with butterflies.
"Why would I tell you?" I replied confidently, a smirk making its way onto my face. His mouth was still by my ear.
"Because I'm asking you nicely." his deep voice answered. I felt shivers creep down my spine.
"You." I breathed. I don't know what it was about him, but I felt compelled to admit it. I could barely breath.
"Hmm that's more like it" he hummed in my ear. I could feel the smirk plastered on his perfect face. "Why?" he asked, he knew he could get any answer out of me. Even if it was something terrible, or embarrassing, or something I wouldn't tell anyone.
"Well, first your voice,"I started, "fuck your voice." I moaned in his ear. "Then your eyes, I could stare in those eyes for hours." I felt him try to hide groaning in my ear. Praise kink?
I continued, "your smile's also gorgeous." he scooted closer to me on the couch. "don't get me started on your body, fuck." he placed his hand under my chin, holding it so I faced him. He gave me a smirk I leaned in to kiss him but then turned to his ear, "you're gonna have to try harder than that."
I got up and told everyone I was retiring to bed. I could feel his eyes on my half exposed arse. Then, I regretted my choice of clothes. My cheeks turned scarlet, luckily no one noticed.
