JULIETTE

I currently sat at a table in the library, supposedly studying with Blaise, Draco, and Arabella. Albeit, instead of studying, Arabella was drowning us with various options, Blaise and I could ask to the ball.

"Alright, how about Adrian Pucey?" she suggested for me, as she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, for what seemed to be the hundredth time.

"Ehh, I guess he's cute." I replied, uncertainty.

"Ooh okay, cute. We'll add him to the list." Arabella seemed to be trying to get as many candidates, as she could.

Then Draco butted in, "and how many does that make?" he asked sarcastically, referring to the amount of names listed on the paper.

"Two." Arabella frowned.

"Now, Blaise," she turned her chair around to face him, "what's your take on going with someone from a different house?"

"Oh, I dig those hot Ravenclaw chicks," he gave her a suggestive smile.

"Mm," she thought about his proposal, "sorry Blaise, but they're too intelligent to go out with a guy like you." she pointed at his chest.

"Oh no, she didn't," Draco mock gasped.

"Oh, yes she did." I countered.

"I f you weren't a girl, and my friend, I would slap you upside the head." Blaise threatened.

"Well I am a girl, and your friend, so I'll do the favor for you." she gave him a mock smile, and then slapped him upside the head.

"Ok, cut it out," Draco put his hands around his girlfriend's waist, and trudged her chair closer to his.

"Fine, fine, fine," Blaise put his hands up, and gave Draco a knowing glare. Draco's response was mouthed, but I couldn't read his lips.

I coughed lightly, "anyways."

"Oh! Jules, what about, you know who?" Bella gave me a suggestive wink. I shook my head rapidly, as a 'no'.

"Fine, fine," she groaned.

"Ooh, hold up a second, who's 'you know who'?" Blaise snooped.

"Don't tell me you fancy the Dark Lord." Draco cupped his forehead in his hand, disapprovingly.

"No, no it's not him, you know who, it's a different, you know who." I clarified.

"Right," Bella grabbed her piece of parchment paper from once side of the table, and placed it in front of her. "So, I've got it all written out," she smoothened out her parchment to get rid of any creases. "Blaise, you ask Pansy Parkinson, if, on the off chance, she rejects you, then go for Lavender Brown in Gryffindor.

"Come on man, not a Gryffindor," Blaise groaned.

"She's your back up plan." Bella reminded him. "Then for the beautiful Juliette," she gave me a wink, "you should definitely ask Adrian. I think you two would make such a cute couple."

"Wait, hold up, hold up, I have to ask him?" I confirmed.

"Yes Jules, guys don't always have to do the dirty work." Draco pointed out.

"I guess..." I mumbled, unsatisfied.

"Speaking of asking dates, look who it is," Bella tapped me lightly on the shoulder to signal for me to look at someone. I turned my head to reveal Adrian Pucey walking into the library. He was attractive, just not so much my type.
