JULIETTE

I walked toward the Great Hall for breakfast. In seconds Pansy Parkinson was by my side blabbering about whatever drama was happening at Hogwarts. "...then Lionel kissed Hermione, and Ron got all upset and they started fighting."

"Woah, woah, woah, what?" I froze in the middle of the hallway. "Who's in a fight with Weasley?"

"Lionel Ravens." Pansy explained, "why — oh never mind."

I was shocked, I still couldn't process that the Lionel Ravens, my brother, was in a fight. Mr. Perfect son who could do no wrong ever, was in a fight.

"Where?" I asked.

"Uhm I think the Great Hall..." she explained, she them took my hand, and we ran together to the Great Hall to catch the fight.

Once we arrived, Weasley and Lionel were already dueling. People crowded around, tables rearranged, cheering. I watched in amazement.

Once I realized all the Slytherin walking out (since this was a Gryffindor fight), I followed their lead, and evacuated the area.

Since the Great Hall was occupied, and the professors' were dealing with the fight, the Slytherins practically had a free period.

Pansy, Daphne, Tracey and I headed for the common room. Once we realized that it was engulfed in students, we settled for the grounds.

Fortunately, it was empty. We all sat on the cold, wet ground, criss cross.

"Guess what, you guys?" Daphne squealed.

"What is it?" Pansy asked eagerly.

"I think Theo might ask me out," she giggled.

My heart sank. Nott was asking her out? To be fair they had known each other longer, and Daphne is gorgeous. I tried to hide the horror and disappointment from appearing on my face. I failed.

"What's your problem?" Tracey asked.

"Oh — I was uhm — upset at Nott for not asking you out already!" I replied much too fast and much too uncertainly to be believable.

Yet, before I could sigh in defeat, Daphne agreed. "I know right. He's so shy around me!"

Daphne, Tracey, and Pansy erupted into varieties of girly giggles. I watched them all, trying to act as if I enjoyed this as much as they did.

We sat outside for what felt like hours before a group of boys walked into our view.

"Oh — hello ladies," Malfoy greeted us. The group was made up of only Slytherin boys, Zabini, Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Nott.

"Hey Theo," Daphne beamed.

"Hi," he responded flatly.

"May we sit?" Draco Malfoy asked, rhetorically.

"I guess," Pansy teased.

Nott sat down next to me, causing Daphne to go haywire. "Hey Theo, why don't you sit next to me?"

"Why?" he asked cluelessly.

Daphne looked at me as if trying to tell me something . I obviously understood what she was trying to say. That I should insist upon him sitting beside her, but I really didn't want that to happen. Therefore, I resulted to acting clueless.

"Want to play a game?" Malfoy asked us all.

"Depends," I replied, for the group.

"How about a spicy one," Daphne suggested, immediately eying Nott.

"In the morning?" I inquired humorously.

"I don't see why not." she demanded.

"You guys could, I think I'm going to head off anyways." I informed them as I sat up.

I walked away and felt another prescience beside me. I turned to see Theodore Nott.

"Well what do I owe the pleasure Nott?" I greeted.

"Hello Ravens," he smiled cheekily.

"What's brought you here?" I inquired.

"Well it was your pretty face, or Daphne's...err — face." he chuckled awkwardly.

My cheeks reddened, "well, what do you do in your free time here at Hogwarts?"

"I know somewhere," he gave me his gorgeous crooked smile. Holding his hand out for me to grab; I took it. We ran through the halls, my hand in his.

Eventually we stopped at a door. I quirked up an eyebrow.

He chuckled at my expression. "This is the Room of Requirements, think of anything you want in the room or whatever you want the room to be and so it will be."

My eyes widened, I started to think about all of the different rooms I could turn it into. "Are you serious?"

He nodded, I smiled excitedly.

"So think of anything," he instructed softly.

I thought of anything, then it came. I opened the door.

Inside revealed a beautiful meadow. Which didn't make much sense since we were inside, yet it seemed as if everything was real, alive. As if the sun was brighter in this room than the previous. The wind was harsher and the air fresher. It was wonderful. Nott stood at the door, I could feel his eyes on my back. I turned around, a confused look on my face.

"What're you looking at?" I inquired.

"Nice choice," he smiled, avoiding my question.

I rolled my eyes and relaxed at the view. Nott's eyes were back on me. I ignored his piercing eyes and enjoyed the scenery.

"You're cute," he commented. My cheeks were red again.

I turned on my heal, "excuse me?"

"You're cute," he gave me a cheeky smile.

"That's sweet," he was now inches away from me. His eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips.

He coughed, "I should go."

"R-ight yes, you should."
