I was determined to solve this.

I picked up flowers on my way home from work, I even went as far as buying him a burrito. He loves his burritos.

I raced up to his door, impatiently knocking as I rehearsed what I would say in my head. Eventually the door swung open and Matty looked unimpressed to see me.

"It's about time you fuck. He's in his room refusing to do anything. Go make up," he ordered. I didn't need to wait around for another minute. Off I went, whipping around the corner and tapping lightly on Kellin's door.

"Room service," I said in a feminine voice.

"Fuck off," Kellin's sultry voice growled from the inside.

"Coming in," I said, still using the girly vocals. I opened the door and instantly smelled something absolutely foul. When was the last time he did some laundry? Fuck.

"Get the hell out, Vic," he seethed. One look at his face and I could see just how much apologizing I would have to do.

"I'm sorry, Kell. I'm so, so, so sorry. I should've listened to you and I just freaked out. I don't like when people hurt you, and I definitely don't like the idea of you standing up to a group of guys alone. I know you can handle yourself, and they're probably all wimpy anyway, but I've seen some scary ends to similar situations and I can't help but imagine the worst," I finished my little speech, my mind void of any other additions. I had a twenty minute long explanation but that was suddenly all I could remember. "Burrito?" I asked hopefully, kneeling down in front of him and offering the food. He wouldn't look me in the eye and fiddled with his sheets.

"You can't just bribe me with a burrito and pretend everything's okay," he muttered angrily. Oh no, I think I made things worse.

"I know, I know. I have a lot of making up to do, but this is my start to it. Please take it, I need you to take it."

"Well," he hesitated, "I'm not going to say no to a free burrito."

"Thank you," I chirped, kissing his cheek.

"No kisses," he said grumpily, turning around, but not before pulling the burrito from my hand.

"By the way, your room's messy. You lost the bet," I told him. "You have to pay for the next two dates." He made some kind of noise and I sighed, climbing onto the bed next to him. I knew I was crossing so many lines, but Kellin always responded best to physical actions. I wrapped my arm around him and pulled back to my chest. I buried my face in his neck and smell his sweet fragrance.

"Stop being so cuddly, I'm mad at you," he mumbled. I chuckled and peaked my head over to see his face and find him devouring the burrito. It was surprisingly so adorable. I bent over and took a bite, causing him to scoff at me.

"You can't eat my forgiveness burrito," he scolded, shoving the rest in his mouth.

"I just did though," I said, my words muffled by the food. He rolled his eyes and flipped around so I could see his face.

"I'm sorry too," he said, after swallowing. "I should've heard you out and instead I just ran away from the topic. I don't want to be one of those people. All along you were trying to tell me that, but I wasn't having any of it. I'm sorry," he finished.

"You were stressed, I get it," I told him. He smiled at me and I smiled back, it was bliss.

"Can I kiss you yet?" I asked in a whisper. Kellin's own eyes shifted to my lips, but he shook his head.

"Why?" I whined, brushing my nose against his.

"Because I'm still mad at you," he said, scowling unconvincingly. I opened my mouth about to reply, but someone interrupted me.
