Should I tell him? Over the past few days you admitted to yourself that you had a crush on Ryder. At first you denied it but today wouldn't leave your mind. When you wrapped your arms around his waist and felt his muscles, you blushed. You even blushed at his smile, when you had found that creepy message. Your phone made noice. Ryder had sent you another message:

Is there something wrong?

You hoped he'd say yes. His voice was what you needed right now.

You called him and he immediately picked up. „Are you okay Y/n?" „Y-Yeah." you said and blushed. Dammit, why do I always blush? You thought but you continued your sentence: „Sorry, I just needed to her your voice right now." „It's fine N/n. I wanted to her your voice too." „Really?" „Of course. I don't know if you know but your voice got me addicted." You were silent in shock. Was there a chance that?
„Sorry. I should not have said that." he apologized. „It's okay Ryder...I...I have to tell you something." „What is it N/n?" You hesitated a bit, but you pulled yourself together. „I-I love you Ryder." you hid your face in embarrassment and mentally got prepared that he wouldn't feel the same.

Ryder POV
I couldn't quite believe it. Y/n loves me? What if it is a prank? No. She sounded too honest. Now I wished I had installed cameras in her bedroom when I placed the note there. „I love you too." I said and I heard her breathing out, relieved that I responded like I did. „For how long?" „I don't know...I think since I got to know you." It was true. My feelings just appeared out of nowhere. My eyes wandered to the pictures on my wall. Each one showed Y/n. I even had her schedule figured out and it was pointed right next to the pictures. I remembered how I crossed out everyone else, except her. She was the reason why I found my Alastor. We continued to talk, until she felt sleepy and said good night. I wished her sweet dreams and she hung up. Tears formed in my eyes as I realized how much I could lose, because of my Alastor. I had killed and injured innocent teenagers and I knew I would do the same today. I didn't want to but I had no control over my curse. Tomorrow I would ask father for advice. He had beaten his Alastor when mom was pregnant with me. Apparently the golden strand of hair is a sign that he made it. And he had a treasure-mark on his right shoulder. Then my mind wandered to the conversation with Jake. I remembered I had told him about my family's curse months ago, even before I had found mine. I had to keep him from spilling that secret, especially since Chase eavesdropped on us. Poor boy. He really thought I didn't notice him. I got up again and put on my black clothing. The grim reaper came out again and before I could think of resisting, I was in the air and on my way to Y/n. But I couldn't go to her yet, my Alastor brought me to the hospital and made me wander down the halls. Not just any hallway, but the hallway with all the people I had injured. Ringe round the Rosies, pocket full of posies. A tissue a tissue, we all fall down. I sang the old nursery rime in my grim reaper voice. And on down, In entered one of the rooms. I was going to kill, whoever was in that room and I knew it was one of the lesbian girls I had injured a few days ago.
