Chapter 12

Chapter title: Hashira Meeting

Morning came and Kyojuro showed up at Tengens estate. M/N was still sleeping. "Is he ok?"he asked right when entering. He had practically barged in, not even knocking.

"I think he's ok now. He's still sleeping in the guest room" Hinatsuru informed

Kyojuro sprinted to the room to see M/N sleeping peacefully. He barged in but M/N didn't wake up from the noise. Kyojuro kneeled down, going to sit down Seiza style. He leaned over M/N's face "My Dear M/N, please don't worry me so much." M/N was all Kyojuro could think about all night an he ran back as fast as possible when his mission was complete. He didn't even stay a minute, not letting the people thank him properly. He placed his hand on M/N's cheek and stroked it softly.

Tengen and his wives stood by the door, watching the interaction. "He defiantly loves him back." Makio blatantly stated

"Yes, for sure." Tengen agreed.

"What happened?" Kyojuro asked, looking at the four with tears in his eyes. He wasn't sure if it was because  he was happy M/N was ok, or he was upset M/N had a mental breakdown the night he was gone.

"He told us about what happened when he disappeared. He was scared you hated him. He was scared we would hate him." Suma cried "it was so sad!"

"He was worried about that?" Kyojuro looked back down at M/N, a tear finally slid down his cheek "I could never hate him. I love him so much, I'm proud he got through that. I care about him a lot. I don't want to see him in pain. He was hurting and I wasn't there for him." Kyojuro now knew why he was crying

"Don't beat yourself up over it. You were on a mission, you couldn't even do anything about it." Hinatsuru went over to him. A tear landed on M/N's cheek, waking him up.

M/N opened his eyes to be greeted to Kyojuro crying over him, faces so close. "Kyo, what's wrong?" M/N asked, placing his hands on Kyojuros cheeks, holding his face softly. M/N's eyes watered when seeing Kyojuro cry

"I was worried. Tengen told me you weren't feeling good mentally. I wanted to make sure you're ok. I'm sorry I couldn't have been there for you at the time. I just want you to know that I really care about you and it hurts me when you're sad. I don't care about what you did back when you were gone. I'm just very proud of you for living and escaping from there, even though you didn't actually want to. I'm so thankful you're here with me because I- you mean a lot to me." Kyojuro had almost told M/N that he loved him but he couldn't get the words out. He decided that maybe he wasn't ready yet.

M/N smiled "thank you, Kyo. You mean so much to me too. More than I can express."

Sadly their moment was interrupted by three Kasugai crows yelling together "Caw! Meeting at Oyakata-sama's mansion! Caw! Trail for a young boy! Caw!"

"Maru!" M/N shouted at his crow for interrupting the moment. He had named him Maru because he was a slightly fat crow. But he would call him "round" instead.

M/N realized he didn't have his uniform at Tengens house. He got up, sadly taking his hands off Kyojuros face. He then ran back to his estate, changing in seconds. Kyojuro had gone with him because he didn't want to leave M/N alone. Senjuro stayed at Tengens estate with Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru.

M/N and Kyojuro made it on time to see a young Slayer being held down by Sanemi and a box with his katana through it. "What the hell?" M/N spoke aloud. He saw the boy, he looked familiar. That's when he realized "that's the boy Urokodaki took in."

"You know him?" Mitsuri asked

"Yes but not really. I only saw Urokodaki send him off to the final selection. He became a demon slayer to turn his sister back into a human. Apparently she hadn't killed or eaten a single human." M/N explained.

"That's what he's been saying, but who knows if that's true." Gyomei stated

"I trust him because I trust Urokodaki." M/N spoke his feelings

"I don't know about it... she is a demon." Shinobu stated

"Maybe we should trust him. After all, he's doing all of this just to protect his sister." Mitsuri explained

"I say we kill both of them. They broke corps rules." Obanai disagreed with Mitsuri which shocked everyone.

"I agree. They both should die!" Sanemi shouted, stabbing the demon through her box.

"Stop!" Tanjiro screamed

"Hey, leave her alone until Oyakata-sama gets here. Suddenly, Tanjiro slammed his head into Sanemi, getting a direct blow on him.

Everyone was in shock "Giyuu distracted me! Shit head!" He shouted and slammed Tanjiros body onto the ground.

Two of Kagayas children came out, saying that he was there now. Kagaya read out the letter which infuriated everyone. Sanemis eyes widened, slight tears for just a moment when he said Giyuu would commit seppuku if Nezuko were to harm any human, then looked back to being angry. He then went to test if Nezuko would ever harm a human. She proved otherwise by denying Sanemis blood offer even after everything he's done to her.

'That was crazy' M/N thought. He was so relieved though because Urokodakis trust in her seemed valid now.

After that, Tanjiro left with Nezuko to Shinobus estate. Then they had their Hashira meeting.

"I'd like you all to be aware of a problem on the Mugen Train. Every single Demon Slayer we've sent never came back. We've come to believe that one of the Twelve Kizuki is there. We are sending one more group just in case but if they don't come back, I'll be sending one of you there." Kagaya explained

They all went on to discuss the matter. None of them felt that it would be a hard mission for themselves as long as it was one of the lower Kizuki. "But what if it is an upper Kizuki?" M/N asked "they're way stronger than you think."

"How would you know?" Sanemi shot "It wouldn't be that hard for me!"

"Because I've met all of them. They're crazy strong, even I couldn't take them on my own back then. Maybe if it's just one of them but you'd need at least two of us to kill them. Upper 6 might be able to beat on your own but there's two demons being placed as Upper Six, Daki and Gyutaro. They are brother and sister."  M/N tried to explain "maybe upper five would be easier but he can teleport between pots and you'd need to make sure there's no pottery around you."

"You seem to know an unusual amount about these demons." Muichiro pointed out

M/N gulped and clenched his fists "he did just say he's met them all. Perhaps he's battled them too?" Kyojuro covered.

"Yeah, I did. I barley escaped alive. I had to run because there was no other way." M/N admitted. It was a half truth.

"The meeting is now over, if you need anything else, you may ask now." Kagaya announced. Everyone bowed, thanked him, and left.

"I wonder who'll be sent on the mission if were needed?" M/N asked Kyojuro and Tengen.

"I'm not sure." Tengen said "but if I'm sent, I'll kill it in the most flamboyant manor!" He did finger guns.

"I will not let a single passenger die!" Kyojuro stated

"I bet so!" M/N and Tengen agreed "I'd probably have a little trouble though I know I'd kill it"

"How about we grab something to eat?" Kyojuro asked "it'll be on me!"

"Ok!" M/N and Tengen responded at the same time.

Whoa, the fourth chapter in one day?! What's gotten into me?! You should probably be expecting another chapter soon too. Maybe it'll be five today? We'll see if that happens because I don't really have a schedule for updates. I kind of just work on a chapter whenever I feel like it. Maybe I'll try and do one at least one a day.
