Chapter 13

Kyojuro was the one sent on the mission on the train along with there demon slayer sun a lower rank. M/N hadn't seen who they were or what their names were but it made him feel better than someone else would be helping Kyojuro on his mission. M/M was on his way to Tengens house with Senjuro when Maru, his crow, had told him to meet with the master.

M/N dropped off Senjuro and went to go see Kagaya. "Yes?" M/N asked

"You'll be going on a mission. You need to check a certain area in the woods south near the route of the mugen train. I had sent Kyojuro on the Mugen Train mission but it'll be leaving late tomorrow. I want you to go to that area of the woods now though. There should be a demon there. People have sighted an unusual man with blue stripes all over his body."

'Oto-san' M/N thought. It just had to be Akaza, but what was he doing there? Would he actually be able to kill him like he claimed he would be able to do? "Alright, thank you."

"Thank you" Kagaya thanked, letting M/N leave.

M/N left on his way, he grabbed some water bottles, putting them in his pocket and some money in case he needed to buy food. He went and said goodbye to Senjuro, Tengen, Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru. "Guys, I'm going on a mission. It might take a few days and I don't know if I'm even going to come back. There's a high probability I'll die because when Oyakata-sama described the demon, he sounded like Upper Three. That's Akaza, my Oto-San and he's externally strong. To be honest, I'm actually terrified and I don't know if I can go on this mission and face him. Goodbye." M/N kissed the top of Senjuros head and hugged the other four. "If I dong come back, tell Kyojuro to make sure he takes good care of himself and that I love him very much." He then got up and left them all.

He tan for a long time, taking a taxi for most of the way. He paid the driver and stayed at a hotel for the night. He needed rest and he was really close to the forest he needed to go to now. He had been tabling all day so he was really tired. He slept that night then got up in the afternoon. M/N then walked into the woods, one hand on the Tsuka of his katana. He looked around, walking slowly in order to take in every detail. He wanted to make sure he would know to make his way back.

He hadn't seen anything suspicious for a while until the sun was setting. Then he saw footprints. They were approximately the size of Akazas feet from what M/N remembered. He quickly followed the prints, hey felt like they went on forever until they disappeared. He didn't know where they went next because the mud the prints were in stoped there too. For all he knew, he could have pulled a uturn and a completely different direction that he was coming from. At this point it was pitch black outside but M/N could still see good because his eyes had adjusted. Out of the blue, there was a massive crash coming from just outside the woods. M/N tan that direction. Something must have happened out there and he needed to check it out. Sadly, he was pretty far from the outskirts of the forest so he ran as fast as possible.

It was around 4 am when he made it out. He stood to see the entire train, derailed, on its side. The yellow boy was escorting the normal people out and that's when he saw it. Kyojuro fighting Akaza. He ran up closer and closer, seeing better but he stayed a distance away.

Panic ensued when he saw Akaza going to plunge his arm through Kyojuro. He wouldn't let that happen. "Oto-saaaaannnnn! Get your hands off the man I love!" M/N screamed at the top of his lungs. For a second he got distracted, looking at M/N. M/N jumped and kicked Akazas face, foot slamming into his cheek.

"M/N?!" Akaza shouted

At the same time Kyojuro shouted "N/N?!"

"Don't hurt him! Don't hurt my Oto-san, Kyo! Please don't kill him! Please don't kill my Oto-san!" M/N cried out "Oto-san, please don't hurt my precious Kyo anymore! He's hurting! Please don't hurt him! I love you both so much! I can't loose either of you! Please! Please stop this!" M/N was screaming at the top of his lungs. Kyojuro was really hurt, it looks like his  left eye was smashed in and he had cuts and deep hashes all over.

M/N gripped onto Kyojuro in a strong hug. His injuries were pretty severe though. He was gushing blood all over "you can't die on me, Kyo. I love you too much to lose you!"

Akaza just stood there, watching their interaction 'I can't take that boy away from M/N. He needs to be happy. He has a human he loves now. But... I didn't think he'd still love me. So it wasn't just an act while he lived with us' Akaza thought to himself "Goodbye, M/N I wish the best between you two." He then ran away, leaving Kyojuro and M/N together.

"You love me?" Kyojuro asked

"Very much" M/N responded

"I love you too. I never would have expected this though." He chuckled. "I'm so happy you saved me. I probably would have died in that fight." Kyojuro admitted.

"I'm so glad I got here in time. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you." M/N cupped Kyojuros cheeks, placing his forehead on his.

"Can I kiss you?" Kyojuro boldly asked for consent.

"I'd love that." M/N allowed. He never thought he'd ever love someone the way he loved Kyojuro but he's thankful it's him he loved.

Kyojuro placed his lips gently on M/N's. M/N reciprocated the kiss right away. The kiss was short, soft, and sweet. He's never felt anything as beautiful as that. That was M/N's first kiss "that was my first." Kyojuro admitted

"Yeah, same over here. I know this sounds cliche but that felt so magical. My lips are still tingling a little." M/N brought his index and middle finger up to touch his own lips, eyes wide and a scarlet blush.

"That was the best thing I've ever felt. Will you be my boyfriend?" Kyojuro asked

"I'd love to, Kyo." M/N called him by his nickname and hugged Kyojuro again. Kyojuro kissed M/N's forehead and ruffled his hair. "I'm so glad to be your boyfriend."

HELL YEAH! Finally together!!! 😩 I'm so happy now! Yes, I realize that this is the fifth update today but I just can't stop myself from updating. My mom is out watching football and my grandpas house so I just thought, 'why not?' I love you all so much! I know I don't have many readers so I really love and appreciate everyone who takes their time to read my story.
