Chapter 15

Chapter title: Alive

Third person pov

M/N was on his way to Tengens estate. He had just left Shinobus residence when the Love Hashira came up to him. He saw his red puffy eyes and tear stained face. "M/N, what happened? Is Kyojuro alright?"

"He's not alright. I know Shinobu is very skilled, and I know she can fix him, but trees always that sense of doubt, you know? Right now, Kyo is on the verge of death. I'm really scared. I can't have him leave me. Not after we finally got together." M/N started crying again

Mitsuri was shocked, eyes wide and hands clasped over her mouth. "He's on the verge of death? What the check happened on that train?" She asked

"It wasn't what was on the train. It was what was in the forest across from it. Upper Three was there and he was set to kill. He almost killed Kyojuro but I came in and saved him. After saying something to him, Upper Three ran away and I was left with my beloved Kyo, dying. The stupid doctors in that town couldn't help him. I feel hopeless but I knew I had to get to Shinobu. I thought that if he had a chance of living, Shinobu would be the only chance he has left." M/N explained. 

"Oh my" Mitsuri looked like she would cry. The two of them hugged. They would just have to believe in Shinobu. That's the only thing they could do at this point. Mitsuri decided to change the subject. It was something that sparked her interest "you had stated that you two just got together and you called him "beloved" I'd like to know all of the details." Mitsuri was curious. M/N knew that the five at Tengens estate would like to know everything too 

"Lets discuss it at Tengens estate. I'm sure they all want to know everything about that too." M/N suggested. Mitsuri agreed and off they went, continuing M/Ns journey to Tengens estate. He had to hope he'd be there. 

M/N knocked on Tengens shoji door entrance "who is it?" Hinatsuru asked

"It's M/N and Mitsuri" M/N answered. Hinatsuru allowed them to come in 

"How was your mission?" Makio, who was nearby asked. 

"Lets gather everyone to talk. Is Senjuro here?" M/N asked. Suma called for Senjuro and Tengen. They both came over, Tengen with Senjuro swinging on his arm. 

"M/N! You're back!" Senjuro cheered and eNjoy over, giving M/N a hug. M/N hugged back and everyone sat down, Senjuro sitting on M/Ns lap. 

"So, what happened?" Makio asked once more. 

"M/N wants to tell us about how he and Kyojuro got together!" Mitsuri blurted out

Everyone gasped. "You two got together?!" They all shouted at the same time. 

M/N felt a little nervous "yeah we did." 

"How? What happened?" Senjuro asked, more excited than ever 

"Well, you see, Kyo was in a fight against Akaza-" M/N started

"Who's Akaza?" Mitsuri asked

"Oh, he's my ot- he's upper three." M/N corrected himself. 

"Whoa! Upper Three was there?!" Mitsuri was surprised

"Yeah, and he was fighting Kyo. He was about to land a finishing blow when I came in and stopped him. I managed to get Akaza away from Kyojuro and he ran off. In the midst of me getting Akaza away, I confessed my love without realizing. When it was all over, Kyo asked me if I meant what I said. I of course told him that I did. That's when he confessed that he felt the same and asked me to be his boyfriend. That's how we got together." M/N explained. 

"Wow! Finally! I'm so happy for you two! Wait, where's Kyojuro?" Senjuro finally pointed out that Kyojuro wasn't with him

"He's, he's in critical condition. Shinobu is taking care of him right now. I don't know if he'll be ok but I'm hoping for the best" m/n explained tears forming in his eyes once more. Senjuro looked up at him, sobbing too. He gripped onto M/Ns haori. 

"He's in critical condition?" Tengen asked, also on the verge of tears. He wasn't one to cry but knowing that his best friend is on deaths door was really scary. Suma was sobbing, as expected from her. The other two were trying to keep their cool but that was hard. 

M/N was comforting crying Senjuro who was on his lap "you're brother will be ok. He's a strong man, believe in him! He gave his word that he'd come out alright." M/N encouraged. 

"Youre right! Kyojuro is strong! He's the strongest!" Senjuro pulled himself together. 

"Shinobu said that shell notify us when he's in a good enough condition to visit him." M/N patted Senjuro head.

"We're all going with you." The girls stated

"Alright, the more the merrier." M/N smiled. 

Hours and hours passed, the group were all messing around and playing random games in the hiuse or just talking about random stuff. "Hey M/N?" Mitsuri asked for his attention

"Yes?" He answered

"You don't have to answer this if it makes you uncomfortable. You just seem like you know a lot more about the Upper Moons than a normal person would, even more than someone who just encountered them. Then you called Upper Three by his name in a sort of found way, not to mention it sounded like you almost called him 'oto-San' is there something more between you? I won't judge." Mitsuri asked

M/N trusted Mitsuri. She was an amazing girl who was always kind to people no matter how they treated her. She was also good at keeping secrets "you see, you know how I disappeared 11 years ago?" M/N asked and Mitsuri nodded "I was taken in By Douma, Upper Two. He treated me like his child. I would call him and his boyfriend, Akaza, Upper Three, 'Oto-San' because they raised me. I lived in the infinity castle, where all of the Upper Moons resided, my whole time gone. I grew close to all of the Upper ranks there. We were all a big family. I loved them and they loved me. But on my Twenty third birthday, they asked me if I wanted to be a demon. I rejected it and decided that I'd have to run away. And that was that. I left my family and rejoined the demon slayers. I only managed to get away out of luck though. Nakime was the one who helped me escape. She's not an upper rank but she's got a good enough blood demon art to be one. She can control the whole infinity castle, that's how she let me escape." 

"Whoa, that was a lot to take in. So you grew up with the Upper Ranks? That's crazy. I'm glad you're safe though."

"Thanks"

"CAW CAW M/N TO SHINOBUS ESTATE CAW CAW!'" It was Shinobu crow. They all got up immediately. M/N picked up Senjuro, who was sleeping, and decided to carry him the way to see his brother. 

They all entered Shinobus estate and Aoi showed them the way to the room Kyojuro was staying in. Tengen burst the door open. Kyojuro was awake "Kyojuro! Seriously man, you've got me so worried!" Tengen ran over to him and hugged him lightly, being sure to avoid any of his injuries. M/N set the sleeping Senjuro on Kyojuros bed. 

Kyojuro gently shook his younger brother awake. "Senjuro." He whispered.

Senjuro woke up, looking at his older brother and started crying. They were all so happy Kyojuro was alive.

What is this, the seventh chapter today? Man I'm going insane. Anyways, I hope you liked this one. Now Mitsuri knows more about M/N. I hope they can grow to be better friends and hope Obanai won't hate M/N too much for being a closer friend to her now. Love  you all tons
