Chapter 41

Chapter title: Cuddle time

All of the campers had showered and went to bed. M/N and Kyojuro had just made sure Senjuro was asleep, both now preparing for that themselves. Kyojuro was currently sitting down while M/N stood behind him, combing his hair thoroughly to make sure there's not a single knot. "You're hair is so nice. It's soft, vibrant, and has wonderful volume!" M/N would never get enough of playing with his boyfriends gorgeous hair. He ran his fingers through it, kind of like a claw to "find knots he had missed" but really, he just wanted to run his fingers through his hair. M/N did a few more brush stokes before hugging Kyojro from behind, because Kyojuro was sitting, M/Ns arms rested on Kyojuro's shoulders, M/N head resting atop Kyojuro's. 

"You sure are clingy tonight~" Kyojuro teased

"Quiet..." M/N mumbled. He didn't say it in a mean way, in fact, his voice was very soft, more submissive than demanding if you think about it. Kyojuro had a content smile make its way to his lips. He glanced at M/Ns hands which connected across Kyojuro's chest. Kyojuro brought his hands up and placed them on top of M/Ns. As a swordsman, you wouldn't expect his hands to be soft, they were, well not completely but almost! M/N got into using a lot of self care and beauty products because of Daki and Douma. M/N always made sure to moisturize, especially after a hard day of training. M/N had been gripping his sword for pretty much twelve hours, only having a lunch break. 

Kyojuro slowly stood up, turning around in M/Ns arms. He brought his arms down, wrapping them around M/Ns waist and supporting his butt as he lifts him up, holding him like a baby."Let's get to bed" Kyojuro peppered kisses all over M/Ns face. 

"Alright." M/N mumbled as he pressed his face into the crook of Kyojuro's neck. He inhaled deeply, he may be using the same hair and body wash products as him but the smell was all the more comforting emitting from Kyojuro. The soft scent of the rose shampoo and conditioner accompanied with the same scented body wash was comforting. M/N does have one more scent on himself. It's strawberry moisturizing lotion and face cream. He got addicted to that scent back when he lived with the Upper Moons. M/N continued using that scent just because it made him feel safe. The smell of the strawberry body products made him feel at home. He always made sure to apply his face cream, partly because his face would dry out from his pimple cream that he applies, but also for nostalgia reasons. He was thinking about asking Kyojuro if he wanted to use his strawberry lotions just for comfort reasons but he didn't know how or when to bring it up. 

"Your nail polish is getting chipped. We should repaint them tomorrow. How does that sound?" Kyojuro asked in a soft tone. 

"That sounds great." M/N smiled as he was placed down on their futon. They were thinking about getting a large American style bed soon, just for more room. Don't get them wrong, they love being so close together, but they'd rather have a little room to move around a bit without one of them rolling into the cold floor. 

Kyojuro got into the futon next to M/N, wrapping his arms around the other and placing g his head on M/Ns chest. M/N pulled up the covers before placing his hands on Kyojuro's back. He rubbed circles on it I'm a calming way. It was an easy way to rock the fiery man to sleep. Kyojuro had brought a hand up and started to gently rub his thumb across M/Ns cheek, then nose. M/N giggled and brushed Kyojuro's soft bangs from his forehead before planting a sweet kiss on it. "You're adorable." Kyojuro complimented. 

"Thank you, and you're stunning." M/N did a lazy wink. Kyojuro let out a quiet laugh, placing his face into M/Ns chest, he was cold, that wasn't a surprise though as he always felt cold. He always wondered how M/N didn't feel cold to himself, only to others. Well, it is the same with Kyojuro. M/N says that his body is always hit (figuratively and physically) and how he felt like a heat lamp, but Kyojuro just felt like any other human. Not that he knows how others feel normally. In this world, there really is no normal for anything. "Mmm, so warm~" m/N hummed as he held onto Kyojuro tighter, pressing his body even closer onto his own. Of course he wasn't holing him too tight. 

Kyojuro tilted his head up just enough to be able to look at M/N. He started into M/Ns eyes, curiosity and love shone in his own. "I have an important question." 

"Yeah?" M/N was listening carefully now

"When this is all over. Muzan is gone and all... I'm not sure when this is but... would you say yes?" Kyojuro asked

'Say yes to what?' M /N didn't get it "to wha-" he stopped himself the moment he figured out when Kyojuro was saying. "Of course I would." He whispered, but still loud enough for Kyojuro to be able to hear. 

"I promise, ill get you the nicest ring,  give you every part of me and my love. I'll make you happy." Kyojuro said

M/N couldn't help but start laughing "I don't care how nice the ring is, as long as it's from you, it's priceless to me. It'd be my most prized possession even if it was just ¥400. And, you already make me so happy. I couldn't possibly be any happier than when I'm with you."

"Thats good, that settles my worries." Kyojuro chuckled nervously

"It's kind of funny actually, just a bit ago, I was looking at your pretty hands, wondering how a ring would look on it. Now here we are, discussing marriage. The moment you propose to me, I won't hold back a 'yes' well, only for you to complete whatever you're going to say." M/N ran his fingers through Kyojuro's hair more, kissing his nose .

"Wow-" Kyojuro laughed. He shifted his position a bit, closing his eyes from exhaust. After finally getting that question off of his chest, his fatigue kicked in. M/N yawned. "Goodnight, Love"

M/N kissed Kyojuro ever so softly in his lips "Goodnight, Dear"

And they drifted off to sleep, the next day awaiting them too soon.
