M/N was not coping well with two more loses. It had been a day and now they needed to attend another meeting. It was probably to finally officially address the defeat of two more Upper Ranked Demons. "Love?" Kyojuro asked for attention.

"Yeah?" M/N turned to him. Kyojuro pulled him into a hug. M/N had to reciprocate it, it was so warm and comforting. He hadn't even noticed but the moment their skin connected, he started crying.

Kyojuro felt a wet spot on his neck, he knew M/N had started crying. Kyojuro started to comfortingly rub M/N's back. "Love? How are you?" Kyojuro asked

"I-" M/N's voice started to shake. He was scared, he was worried, he was hurt, he was depressed; he was angry. "I'm not ok" he finally admitted.

"I know it's really hard for you right now. I know you're hurting and I don't know exactly what you're feeling. I feel really bad for you, I'm sorry you keep losing people..." Kyojuro actually referred to those demons as people "that are close to you. I want to help you. I want to see you smile, but not a forced one, ok? I'll be by your side every step of the way. I can't tell you to just 'cheer up' I know that's not how it works, I just hope you get well soon"

"Thank you." M/N's grip tightened on Kyojuros back. His body was tense but slowly relaxed "I love you. Let's go to that meeting." M/N pulled away from the hug and Kyojuro wiped the tears from M/N's face before giving him a kiss.

M/N looked around the living room to see if Senjuro was there before remembering that he was sleeping over at the butterfly mansion with the younger slayers. M/N frowned, he misses the younger Rengoku. "We can visit him after the meeting" Kyojuro could tell M/N missed his younger brother.

"Yeah." M/N sounded sad. They then hurriedly went to the masters mansion.

The other Hashira were conversing. This was the second meeting they've has since Tengen retired and the couple felt so lonely without their best friend at the meetings. "The master has arrived" two young girls stated together as they brought him out.

Everyone kneeled down in a bow to show respect to the master. He told them all to rise. "As most of you know, in the swords smith village, Upper Four and Five made an appearance. Thanks to Mitsuri, Muichiro, Genya, and Tanjiro, they had been slain" the moment Ubuyashiki mentioned Genya, Sanemis eyes widened. At this point, he still hadn't known that his little brother, the person he wanted to protect so much, had become a demon slayer. M/N saw the worry in Sanemis eyes, Giyuu did too and very subtly held Sanemis hand. No one really would have noticed, but M/N did and was happy for them.

"It's ok." He saw Giyuu mouth to Sanemi.

"But, there was a more significant discovery. Mitsuri and Muichiro had unlocked their Demon Slayer Mark. Not only that but Tanjiro was the first to unlock his long before them."

"Tanjiro?"

"The boy with the demon sister?"

There were a few whispers amongst the Hashira. "We would like to know how they had managed to unlock it. Mitsuri?"

"Well, everything was so fast! It was like Kya! Kya! Boom! Bwaaa! Baam! And tinkle tankle too!!!" Everyone deadpanned at that. Obanai looked so embarrassed, his hand was covering his eyes and forehead, like he wanted to hide. He felt embarrassed for her.
