Chapter 40

Chapter title: The first success!

It was mid noon when the impossible (among the other demon slayers) became possible. A group of three Demon Slayers had passed the first section of their training. This group came from Kyojuro's side, and the other slayers seeing this made them realize that they CAN do it. What they thought was impossible seems to just be out of reach. They know, that even if it's out of reach, you can still get what you are going for, weather you grow on your own to reach it yourself or ask for help, it's possible. M/N and Kyojuro wanted a mix of those two options. They wanted them to be able to ask for help, but be strong enough and have the will power to do it on their own at one point. A loud cacophony of cheers and congratulations could be heard from their estate as the first group had passed that section.

M/N and Kyojuro had told them about the fact that they have a second part of their training but hadn't specified as to not make them lose hope. "congratulations!" M/N cheered as he patted the demon slayers who passed on their backs as Kyojuro then pulled them in for a hug. The three left off to get some water from Senjuro who congratulated them as well. They thanked him for the water and sT down to drink. People went over to crowd them and ask them how they did it. 

M/N turns to Kyojuro as they were alone now, everyone's attention on the group that passed. "You better not have gone easy on them~" M/N poked Kyojuro's cheek

"Why would I? That'd defeat the whole purpose of this. They got through on their own strength and teamwork." Kyojuro responded. 

M/N took Kyojuro's hands in his, "Maybe you've gotten weak~"

"What makes you think that?" Kyojuro chortles, gazing into M/Ns eyes "mine probably just passed first because I'm a better teacher~" he started to tease

M/N let out a gasp "You. Did. Not." He exaggerated his reaction, acting as though Kyojuro's words had pierced right through his heart. 

"Yes I did, what are you going to do about it?" Kyojuro teased more

"I swear my group will be far better than yours!" M/N was laughing, so he didn't sound to serious on what he was claiming. 

"Mhm." Kyojuro sounded as if he didn't believe him, causing M/N to huff and look away. Kyojuro sighed "you're a great teacher, M/N. I'd like to see your students succeed!" 

"They already ar-" M/N was cut off by Kyojuro placing his lips on M/N's. M/N didn't hesitate to melt into their warm loving kiss. They pulled away and Kyojuro patted M/Ns head. 

"Let's get back to work!" Kyojuro stated, turning to walk away. 

M/N gripped Kyojuro's hand tighter so he couldn't get away. "Please..."

"I can give you all of the attention you want when the day is over. Right now we have to train these people. Their lives depend on us, you understand that, right?" Kyojuro also wanted to be close with M/N but alas, that wouldn't happen for another eight hours. Training for the day ends at 20:00 while it's only around 14:25 at the moment. 

"I know, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be so selfish. You better give me all of the cuddles in the world when the day insider though, or else Ill never forgive you." M/N threatened. 

"No pressure-" Kyojuro sounded nervous. He knows he has to do his best tonight, well, he just wants to because he knows that M/N would be fine and wouldn't hate him for completely fulfilling all of his needs as long as he tries. Kyojuro kissed M/Ns hand, M/N then letting go and they went to gather their groups. 

A few groups went against M/N, one after another. M/N was gaining hope as everyone seems to be doing way better after each attempt.

M/Ns first group made it through. Another commotion was made because they were the second group to accomplish this, as well as the fact that they were the first in M/Ns group to do so. Kyojuro looked over in a spare second to send a wink and thumbs up. He immediately went back to his spar, no sweat. M/N felt himself blush as he glanced at his boyfriend working hard to ensure more people's safety. M/N admired his boyfriend, he wants to be able to live up to Kyojuro's expectations.

M/N congratulates his group. The celebrate for a moment before they all had to calm down. Senjur was busy refilling people's water. M/N kind of felt bad that Senjuro had to do all of this work but Senjuro claims to be happy to help out and also that he's having fun. M/N just decided to take Senjuros word for it. "Thanks, Sen! You're doing great, go take a break!" M/N called over. Senjuro nodded and left to go back inside the estate to grab himself some thing to snack on as he was hungry. He had ate lunch, but he was still craving a snack. 

After that, many more people were catching up and passing the first section. At the end of the day, M/N and Kyojuro had decided that they'd explain the second part of their training to everyone before they went off to make dinner together. Senjuro gathered everyone, though most of them were already paying attention. Everyone say down seiza style as they listened to M/N and Kyojuro talk.

"We gathered you all here to learn what the second portion of your training will be!" Kyojuro's booming voice spread through the estate.

"Next, you will be fighting either of us, One on One! It will have the same rules but we also added that if you hit either of us three times, you can also pass that way!" M/N explained

Everyone looked uneasy now. 

"We believe in you! We will help you every step of the way!" Kyojuro crossed his arms with a bright smile. 

"Just know, we won't go easy on you." M/N added, earning a jab in the side from Kyojuro's elbow. The people there were holding in a small laugh from that. "What!?" M/N asked

"You're going to make them lose hope!" Kyojuro stated

"But we believe in them! You just said that you did! I believe in them!" M/N argued back

"I know but..."

"But what? They've got this!" M/N sighed, Kyojuro following in suite. 

"Anyways, let's put that aside! Good luck tomorrow!" Kyojuro then left with M/N so they could go and make dinner.

Double update! (Bc I love y'all!) I feel like this arc is go I g to move a little slow, please hang in there! I'm doing my best! I'm planning on getting my 13th Kny cosplay soon! This one will be of Tengen! It's kind of weird that he's the last Hashira I'm getting? 

So far I have (in the order I got them): Zenitsu, Kyojuro, Obanai, Douma, Akaza, Giyuu, Sanemi, Tanjiro, Muichiro, Kokushibo, Inosuke, and Gyomei

After I get Tengen Ill go for my baby Genya! Or maybe just should get his first!? Idk I honestly like Genyas design more so maybe ill get his cosplay? Also, his wig would be more fun to style than Tengens.
