When Penelope Featherington booked the role on the show she's been wanting for a while, she didn't expect to be in love with her co-star.
Now, let's take it back a notch.
Penelope Featherington had always done comedy for most of her acting career. And while she loved it, she wanted something different.
So when her agent called and talked to her about a drama show, she instantly said yes to the audition.
She ended up booking the part a few months. Penelope had never been more content with her life.
At least until she started filming. Colin Bridgerton was and always will be a charmer.
She refuses to talk about it.
"Penelope," Colin smiles.
"Colin," Penelope nods

"It is so easy for you!" Penelope shouts.
"Easy? You think this shit is easy?" Colin shouts back. "How the fuck would you know about what's easy?"
"You are the most privileged little asshole I have ever met. Don't go acting all high and mighty now," Penelope replied.
"It was a bet! That we both made! What did you expect to happen?" Colin said.
"To at least be able to trust that you'll be honest!" Penelope replied. "I have spent so much of my time on you and this fucking 'bet' and I'm done!"
"Then be fucking done! I never asked you to do the bet in the first place!" Colin yelled back.
"Yes you fucking did!" Penelope bumped into his shoulder and grabbed her backpack. "If you're not gonna be honest about what was said, then don't talk to me."
"Cut!" Was heard on the other side of the camera.
"Felt a little too real there?" Colin asked.
"And what would you know?" Penelope replied
****
"Are you ever gonna talk to me?" Colin whispers in her ear from behind her.
"And what are you trying to do? Seduce me?" Penelope whispered back, turning her head to look into his eyes.
"Is it working?" He asked.
"You wish it was," Penelope shyly replied.
"I do," Colin didn't look away from her the entire time, his eyes placed on hers and never breaking. "Meet me in my trailer?"
"We'll see how lucky you get," Penelope whispered.
****
"I knew you'd stop by," Colin smirked seeing Penelope walk into his trailer.
"Are you gonna play games or is this for real?" Penelope asked.
"This is for real, pen," Colin replied.
"But you said that last time," Penelope said. "And last time you left me alone. I don't want that."
"You promise you're not leaving?" Penelope whispered to him as she ran her fingers through his hair, their bodies pressed against each other while they laid in bed.
"I promise," Colin replied.
"You promise times a million?" Penelope giggled.
"A million and one," Colin placed a kiss on her lips.
"Okay, I believe you," Penelope smiled.
Colin smiled and brought her closer to him, her laying her head on his chest.
