One year anniversary

"Colin Bridgerton, you didn't forget our anniversary?" Penelope jokes slightly at him

"You're the only anniversary I will remember," Colin replied, lifting her chin slightly to press a kiss to her lips. "And because it's a few days before your birthday, which I will actually never forget."

"Cute," Penelope giggled as she pressed her lips to his once more. She loved going sightseeing with him, and it being what they did on their anniversary made it even better.

Colin smiled, pulling a black velvet box out from his pocket. Penelope's eyes went wide, one because she realized what he was doing, and two because of where he was doing it. In public, in Paris.

"No, you're not," Penelope smiled slightly as tears started building up and he started to kneel down.

"You know you're the love of my life, we met two days before your birthday, and so I was hoping to make this birthday special, by being able to call you my fiancé? Will you marry me, Pen?" Colin sweetly smiled at her.

"Yes, yes I will," Penelope smiled, tearfully.

Two year anniversary

"You're so pretty," Colin whispered in her ear

"Hm, what do you want?" Penelope giggled.

"What are you talking about! I'm just loving my wife," Colin smiled. "I don't have to have a second motive."

"But you do," Penelope smiled up at him, tipping his chin so he looked in her eyes.

He pouts, but gives in non the less, "So I kinda wanted to do something special. And since it's our anniversary, I wanted to take you out on the night. Just the two of us, dinner and wine."

"But I can't,"

"You can't what?" Colin questions, confusion growing in his eyes.

"I can't drink wine," Penelope giggled.

"And why not?" Colin replied.

"Because I took a pregnancy test this morning,"

"What?" Colin asked immediately. "You're pregnant?"

She nodded. And within seconds she was in his arms.

Three year anniversary

"Three years, can you believe that?" Colin smiled.

"Yes, I can," Penelope replied pulling him towards her and placing a peck to his lips. "Where's our little bundle of joy?"

"She's with my mum," Colin whispered.

"Awww but what if I kinda wanted to spend time with Aggie?" Penelope pouts.

"She's just having her for a few hours, just wanted to have at least an hour with you,"

"Deal," Penelope giggled. "Can you believe it's our first anniversary as parents?"

"I know," Colin couldn't help but smile at her. "She's such a little sweet thing too."

"I love how she's such a daddy's girl," Penelope whispered. "You're so good with her."

"So are you," Colin placed a kiss to her forehead. "You're the perfect mom."

"I think she has pretty greats parents,"

"I think so too."

Four year anniversary

"Agatha!" Penelope raised her voice to her oldest to get her attention. "Please be more gentle with your brother. I know you're trying to be sweet and play with him but he's really small, my love."

Agatha Bridgerton loved having a little brother. She loved playing with him and her parents loved it too. They loved having their little family.

"Happy anniversary," Colin whispers in her ear

"Happy anniversary baby," Penelope smiled as Colin lightly kissed her neck.

"I love watching our kids, but you know what would be even better?" Colin smirked against her shoulder.

"What?" Penelope giggled.

"Taking a trip with them."

So the next day the family was in Paris. Sentimental? Definitely.

"You're such a romantic," Penelope whispered to him as they watched their children play with toys in front of them.

"I try to be," Colin replied, planting a kiss to her cheek. "Happy anniversary, my love."

"Happy anniversary, col," Penelope smiled.
