sabria's pov.The talk with Crew made me realize some things. As I listened to him talking, I felt ridiculous. But now I know what I have to do with Landon to make it work. I don't want to break up with him, I want to make it work, fall in love with him. It won't work if we continue acting like little kids, ignoring each other. Because that's what we are doing right now. And I still don't know why.
I couldn't catch him at school, just my bad luck. And he has me blocked everywhere so I hope I can see him at the beach party today. Beach party like every friday, a real love.
We mostly do the organizing for beer and music and it's just like this today.
Sam tries to figure out where to put all the beer while Jaime is already drinking from it.
"You can better help me instead of drinking!" Sam tells him.
Nayeli and I start laughing and Jaime puts his cup away in a trash bag. The sun already set some time ago and some people start arriving here as well. Mostly freaks from our school, some spits and toursists as well. The beach is full fast, Sam and Jaime are giving out the beer while Nayeli and I do the music.
I smile when I see Crew coming our way. "Hey Nayeli, I'll be back, okay?" I tell her and she nods with a smile.
"Okay!" she shouts over the loud music.
"Oh hello, smartass. I didn't know you were coming." I tell him in the best british accent I can.
"Hello princess. I know you are shocked to see me but I may as well check on the royals ball." he fakes a british accent as well and even bows in front of me.
I start laughing hysterically and he joins in.
"I saw Landon come here, I thought you might want to talk to him." he tells me as we still cool down.
"Yeah, thank you." I tell him as I look around for him.
"Uh..I can show you where he is." Crew tells me and I nod, agreeing.
The beach is full of people, I don't see no Landon.
We walk through the crows of dancing bodies until Crew stops in front of the water. I look and see Landon. The way his lips are parted tells me he already drank some beers tonight. That's not gonna stop me from talking to him.
"Hey Landon! Can I talk to you?" I ask him over the loud music.
Landon looks down at me and raises his eyebrows. "Do I look like I want to listen to your bullshit? Fuck off with your new boyfriend, Sabria!" he shouts over the loud music as well.
He doesn't sound sober.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that we are over! Go away now!"
God, this boy sounds drunk as fuck.
"Landon, I want to talk to you!"
"Well I don't want to talk to you!" He turns away from me to a group next to us.
He taps a girl on the shoulder and she smiles when she see's him. He immediately pulls her to him and kisses her deeply. Even I can see the tongue he uses with such force right now.
The girl pushes against his chest and backs away from him. "What the fuck is wrong with you, maniac!" the girls yells and she goes back to her group.
They all look at Landon and take some steps back, away from us.
I look at Landon with parted lips. He just smiles at me. "That's how it feels, Sabria!"
His palm meets my cheek and I feel a short and twingling pain on the spot. Before I can respond, someone lightly pushes me to the side and slaps Landon as well.
