"WELL?" Benson asked as soon as I closed the door to Reese's office. "Well I think Angy might skin Tre alive, but I'm not sure its just a vibe."

Abandoning her spot by the door next to me Alisha walked across from me so she was standing with, Benson and Philip peering at me.

I don't what they're about to say, but I just know I'm not going to like it... maybe I should bolt?

Ugh if I bolt now they'll just corner me later, let's get this shit over with now.

"What," I snapped looked at Philp who judging by the look on his face was about to crucify me.

Just what I need.

"Well, you know speaking as you know orphans and former wards of the state." Alisha started in her motherly tone.

"Oh shit they're going in heavy aren't they," Benson stated while eyeing Philip and Alisha who had similar looks on.

"Mauve our parents didn't want us and that's fine we've come to terms with the fact that we're unwanted children." Lay it on real thick Alisha why don't you. "But you, you have a chance to know what a parents love is, to be wanted by your parents."

Those Irish freaks may not even BE my parents, what's with the lectures. We're making a big deal about something that may not even be true.

Even if they are my parents, I'm 18 I've grown up without them. I didn't need them then and I sure as fuck don't need them know.

I need a drink. A few of them actually.

"I don't need them, besides Alisha and Philip have pretty much shaped me all of us really." Its weird because they've only been in our lives for a few years and just a few years older than us. But Philip and Alisha have taken the parental roles in our group.

I've become this feared and respected person with them help of my chosen family. My chosen family picked me because my birth family failed me. They failed me and I decided my parents were dead to me when I was just 4 years old.

That's how they'll stay- dead to me.

That's how they'll stay- dead to me
