it has been a week since leah tried to speak to me

Flashback

After recovery leah approached me "hey Liv can we talk." "Sorry leah I need to get going, I'll catch up with you soon" I respectfully had to decline this conversation as my head was pounding from the few drinks I had the night before and I had no patience to sit and talk to anyone.

End of flashback

Today we are in training for the match tomorrow vs Aston Villa I'm very excited for this game and hopefully I get some minutes. It was a good training session as I get to my car I decide to call my mum as I had a miss call from her while I was in training. The call rings out. Weird my mum always picks up. Just as I'm about to call my dad an unknown phone number calls me. "Hello is this Olivia Taylor." "Yes this is her speaking" I reply confused "this is doctor Morrison calling from St Thomas' hospital, I'm sorry to tell you that your mother and father have been in a car crash and if you would be able to get here as soon as possible." My stomach drops. My mum. My dad. I hang up straight away and frantically drive to the hospital my heart is literally pounding out of my chest. Once I arrive I run out the car straight to the emergency department I run straight up to reception. "I'm looking for my mum and dad, Lauren and david Taylor , they were in a car crash." "Hello Olivia I am dr Morrison if you would like to follow me." The women says as she appears at reception. "They are in surgery just now, we don't know what's going to happen but we can only have hope both of them are suffering internal bleeding and we will try our very best to help them." "Oh my god this can't be happening, I say as I'm pacing about the room." I can see a little crowd starting to form and pointing at me "is that Olivia Taylor" I hear someone say. "We have a private waiting room through here for you and we will not let anyone see you, if you like we can inform some of your family memebr let's you would like to be here." "No it's fine I can do it." "Okay we'll I will be back with more information, I'm sure they will pull through this Olivia." She says but I'm not listening to anything she is saying all I'm hoping for is that my mum and dad don't die right now.

A few hours later some of my family have arrived. We are all worried to death. I can't sit still and my mind is just racing to the word case possible. Dr Morrison walks in the door. And straight away . Straight away. I can tell. I can tell that my mum and dad have not made it. "I'm sorry-" she can't even finish her sentence before I interrupt "no, no they can't be, they can't be dead." I say tears streaming down my face everyone is now crying "I will give use some time." Why, why does bad things always happen to me. Everything that night went to a blur and I had to inform Arsenal that I was not fit to attend tomorrows game, they supported me and told me that if I needed anything they would always be here and I can have a break from football for a while. I told Ella and alessia the news and they were just as bad as me they could not believe it and they said they would be down to london after their game tomorrow which I appreciated so much, I needed them right now if I didn't have them I would run myself up the wall, my mind would explode and I would lose it. Arsenal posted an instagram post informing the fans that I would not attend tomorrows game

Olivia Taylor will not be attending tomorrows match against Aston Villa due to person reasons. We support this gunner through and through 🔴⚪️

It's been a rough couple of days, less and Ella arrived that night after their game and have been here comforting me, everyone on the team has been messaging me which I appreciate, even jordan messaged me saying "hope you are okay Olivia" which I thought was kind considering the weird amount of hatred she had towards me. Leah messaged me as well saying "I'm so sorry for your loss, if their is anything you need let me know Liv❤️" I'm so thankful that even after I cut things off with her she is still willing to help me through this rough time. I decided that today was the day that I would post regarding everything that has happened. Ella and less we're non stop asking me if I need anything before they leave in which I replied "thank you guys for everything but I will be fine." "Okay just message us okay" "I will."

Thought long and hard about what to write here but words cannot do any justice
On the 19th may 2022 my mum and dad were involved in a car accident causing them both internal bleeding, the doctors tried to do everything they could but it just wasn't enough. My heart is broken, for all the times I never thanked use because I was too young, too busy or just didn't find the words, today I thank you for all use have done for me. Now that I am older I realise more and more that everything use did, everything use gave, and most importantly everything use stood for and I love use and thank use with all of my heart. until we meet again my loves❤️
