Well this is it. My last game wearing a man United kit. This feels so surreal. Everyone now on the team knows and it will be announced after the game that this was my last game with United.
"How are you feeling" Alessia says to me as we head out to warm up. "Mixed emotions really" I honestly respond. She comforts me "you need to score us a cheeky goal before you leave" Ella says to me. "Ahaha I'll try my best" I say.
First half as the first half kicks in we have a lot of possession. Zelem passes the ball through the opponents and the ball lands at my feet. I see defenders running towards me so I make a long pass to less who has started to make her way to the penalty box and she headers it in. 35" GOAL RUSSO. I sprint towards her and jump on her. I'm really going to miss this team. The game continues
Second half Halfway through the second half we have 25 minutes left I need to score a goal. Ella receives the ball from Zelem and makes her way down the pitch she sees me and passes me the ball. The balls at my feet and I start making my way to the penalty box I trick a defender and out the ball through their legs and kick the ball with all my strength straight into the top left corner out of reach for the keeper. I've scored. I've done it. All the girls run up to me congratulating me on my goal.
The final whistle is blew. 2-0 to United. Goal from me and alessia with an assist from Ella. As the game ends I sit in the middle of the pitch realising this is my last time doing everything for United. I scored for the last time. I celebrated for the last time. I assisted for the last time.
We agreed that United would post on instagram and I would post on instagram regarding my departure.

It is sad to announce that today we say goodbye to true club hero, after 4 years @oliviataylor has decided to leave United, wishing her all the best for the future and new club 👀 Thank you to Olivia❤️

I am sad to announce that today was my last game wearing a United shirt. This club means so much to me over the past 4 years I've made irreplaceable friends for live and cannot thank this club enough for every opportunity they have gave me. ❤️Manchester will always be red though.
