Waiting for Callum had been nerve-racking we've met once and have been speaking for a while now. I sat nervously at the Ihop rubbing my thighs.
My phone pinged at a notification thinking it was Callum but my skating schedule this week. The door chimed at someone entering I looked up finally meeting Callum after a while. I could do this we're supposed to be friends.
He smiled at me.
"Camille?"
I nodded
"Figured it was gonna take longer for you to find me," I started looking at the menu.
"Hurtful as ever Cam."
I smiled looking at the menu. We later spent the next hour eating and talking about what we'd been doing since break started.
"Tell me the schedule, Cal," I mentioned as I drank my strawberry milkshake.
"Nope, a total surprise."
"Don't tell you scared of racing me?" I smirked at him.
"Never."
Keeping his promise he didn't budge the whole rest of the ride to NY.
I on the other hand was enjoying being the music dj.
We went to a variety of places we played games at the arcade and food I ate a salad since I ate a lot for breakfast which was pointless since Callum gave me all his fries.
We were now at the skating rink it surprisingly looked closed but was open.
"Cal it's empty."
"So?"
I looked at him confusingly
"It's the team rink don't worry plus it's empty and we have enough space to race without hurting anyone."
I nodded looking at how pretty the rink was from what I practiced and looked at the figure skater memento when my smile fell the asshole went here.
Fucking Anderson
Callum must've noticed my shift in my mood and asked what was wrong and I said "Nothing let's get ready."
We removed our shoes and put out skates and I put my phone in the record I had to film the moment Callum lost.
"Okay," I told him he nodded
At the same time, we both shouted GO
The asshole was fast but I was faster and just like I thought I won.
I cheered myself while Cal had his mouth open in shock. What I was a pretty damn great skater.
I started to spin myself in excitement while Cal announced a rematch.
