I woke up due to the brightness in the small cabin. Well, now that it's morning this is not small, especially this room. I turned over to the other side of the bed to see an empty side. Of course, he would be up.  I groaned and threw the covers and got up and headed to the bathroom that was connected to the room. I quickly freshen up and changed and got ready for today. As I was leaving the room I was greeted with a very sweaty Callum. "Morning," I said quickly heading to the kitchen we have. "Morning star" he shouted from the room. I quickly found the coffee maker and made some coffee. I hadn't even looked at my phone yet and I just know it way too early for this.

I moan at drinking my coffee. Ugh heaven, that's what this is.

"I see someone is enjoying their coffee."

"God, I am it's way too early for this."

"It's five past eleven"

"You and math."

"I am a math major."

I just smiled at him. Shit why am I smiling?

He just smiled back and took my mug and washed it for me while I stare at him.

"Star love your staring"

"Hmm, I am, aren't I?

Before he could respond we heard a knocking.

"Yo Cap breakfast is almost ready"

He looked at me and smiled in a way that made my stomach flutter.

"Yeah, Yeah we're going now."

He grabbed my hand and intertwined it with his as we walked out of the cabin.

I pause for a moment holy shit this looks like some camp thing. I looked at Callum with widened eyes.

"Yeah, coach bought this for his team it's mostly for team bonding and for times like these when he takes the players with partners out."

"So you've never been here?"

"Only for team bonding."

I nodded at that. We later spent the day doing various things like playing games to even playing in the lake. It was peaceful and I hadn't even bothered to use my phone unless it was to take pictures.

That's when my phone rang we were currently drying ourselves from the lake and heading to make dinner. I excused myself which earned a worried glance from Callum. I checked my phone to see who was calling to see if it was my mother calling.

I answered the call when I heard her voice.

"Mom"

"Cami hey"

"Something wrong ma?"

"Hun I'm sorry but after this semester we can't help you pay for college it's just double the tuition plus with your brother needing surgery we don't have the money right now."
