On week after this wonderful night between Thranduil and y/n the starlight festival took place. A serevant named Ciliren helped y/n with her preparation. She brushed her hair and braided a few silver threads into it. Ciliren fetched a small box and opend it before y/n. She gasped. A breathtaking tiara and a matching necklace were placed on a velvet cushion. Shimmering white gemstones were incorporated in both.

"A present from King Thranduil" Ciliren said and carefully placed it on the top of y/n's head.

"I cannot accept this" she spoke stunned as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"It was the explicit request from the king" Ciliren replied smiling and laid the necklace around her neck.

"Then i need to return it as soon as possible" y/n descided not looking away.

"We will see" Ciliren chuckled and took a step back "How do you feel, mylady?"

Y/n looked up and down on herself. She wore a long baby blue dress with long sleeves. Her neckline and her hem were decorated with silver patterns. It was also a present from the king. Her lips in a light shade of red and her eyes delicately framed in charcoal.

"Don't i look pale with these light colours?" she asked a bit uncertainly.

"You look just fine" Ciliren replied honestly.

Just in that moment a knock was heard. Ciliren opend and Thranduil entred. Y/n turned around and smiled at him. She could see the admiration in his eyes but he remained in his usual stern posture.

"Would you give us a moment?" he asked over his shoulder.

Ciliaten left the room and closed the door quietly behind her. Thranduil gently laid his hand on her neck and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Y/n laid her hand on his cheek and closed her eyes. She enjoyed every moment of it because she had hardly seen him since one week. Y/n had almost believed that he regretted what had happend. But this kiss said otherwise. He had missed her every second she wasn't around. It was like he was not complete without her. Sometimes he catched himself thinking and daydreaming about her. No other elleth had turned his head like she had since he had first spoken to her.

"You do look like the light of the stars we are celebrating tonight. So pure and clean. Wonderful like a dream under the night sky" he praised and placed a soft kiss on the back of her hand.

"You look good by yourself. So strong and handsome" she replied and sent him an beautiful smile.

"I am really sorry about last week. I really wanted to spend more time with you melleth nin but the the current situation does not permit" he said sadly.

"It is fine Thranduil believe me" she assured and caressed his cheek "I feel very much at home here."

"These are good news. I also wanted to tell you is that we are able to spend more time together in the years to come" he proclaimed and a sweet smile appeared on his lips.

"Wonderful! May i ask what's the reason?" she asked curious.

"You may everything my sweet little elleth" he spoke and let his finger glide along the side of her face.

A knock was heard.

"What?" he called annoyed.

"My King. The Guests are awaiting you and Lady y/n" the stern vioce of a guard informed.

"We will come back to this later. Is that allright?" he looked at her and took her hand in his.

"Definetly" she agreed and pressed a short kiss on his lips.
