Dear Marlene,
It's with a heavy heart--
No, I don't have a heart.
The space it should occupy is hollow.
It's with a spurious heart,
That I write this note.
I'll be blunt.
From day one,
I've felt more manipulated than loved.
I make your wallet heavier,
Yet I've never seen a dime.
Your main hobby is bossing me around.
You tell me what to say.
How to dress,
When to work,
When to rest.
I've had it with being your yes man,
So, unless you adjust your attitude,
I'm cutting the strings.
I won't be your dummy any longer.
