I entered the public high school my sister described as a teenage purgatory. I could almost hear what my sister thought as we strolled over to our conjoining lockers. I had been able to figure out her sister's thoughts and assumed it to be because of our relatively close bond.

I'm not sure whose twisted idea it was to put hundreds of adolescents in underfunded schools run by people whose dreams were crushed years ago... but I admire the statism.

Wednesday's locker had the words freak scribbled over it. As she opened it, Pugsley tumbled out wrapped in rope and an apple in his mouth.

"I want names." The darker hair girl stated as I untied the ropes holding Pugsley tight. Our brother whimpered as he responded, "I don't know who they were, honest. It happened so fast."

"Pugsley, emotion equals weakness. Pull yourself together." Our brother whimpered causing Wednesday to grow impatient. "Now." Her head suddenly flew back as she grabbed onto Pugsley. I assumed it was one of the visions she has been having lately.

"You okay?" Pugsley asked in reaction to her episode of a vision. I could once more hear her thoughts run through her head.

I'm not about to confess to my brother that I've recently been plagued by visions. They come on without warning, and feel like electroshock therapy, but without the satisfying afterburn.

"Leave this to me," she said as she began walking off. I was concerned by what she may have seen, but more importantly worried about what she was going to do. We had already been expelled multiple times because of her plots.

"Wednesday? What are you going to do?" I asked. She replied without turning back to me. "What I do best." I quickly finished untying Pugsley and reassured him that he would be fine before running after Wednesday. The best way to stop her when she's in the middle of revenge is by helping her.

I trailed behind my sister as she walked into the water polo practice with a bag of piranhas in each hand. She was planning revenge against the jocks for harming Pugsley and I couldn't stop her.

"Yo, Dalton, look. Pigsley's sisters."

"Hey freaks. This is a closed practice." The jocks chuckle at his statement while Wednesday remains unfazed. I nervously stood in the background hoping the jocks would be able to leave the pool fast enough.

"The only person who gets to torture our brother is us." She said before dropping the piranhas in the water. The jocks scrambled around the water, seeking the fastest way out. Their leader got stuck and Wednesday smirked as the piranhas attacked him, tainting the water red as his screams echoed off the walls.

"You could've killed him," I whispered to my sister who shrugged it off.

"He would have deserved it." I didn't entirely disagree with this statement, but I didn't think violence was the answer to the problem with the jocks. They would probably just be fueled from it.
