When we entered the dorm room, we were immediately greeted with the sight of Enid having an emotion breakdown. I walked over and gave her a small hug to help comfort her with whatever was wrong. "Where have you been?! I'm literally having a heart attack right now. Yoko's in the infirmary!"
"What happened?" I asked, pulling away from the hug to get a better view of her face. I could tell she was crying for at least an hour now judging by the puffiness around her eyes and the redness.
"Garlic bread incident at dinner. She had a major allergic reaction. She's out of the Poe Cup. I don't have a co-pilot." She spoke fast enough that I almost couldn't pick out what she was saying. I was already planning to join them in the race but I wasn't sure if I would be a good co-pilot to step in.
"It wasn't an accident. Bianca's behind it." Wednesday stated, watching us from a distance from being uncomfortable with physical interaction.
"How do you know?" The blond werewolf sniffed lightly as she wiped her tears with the hem of her hoodie. She knew that my twin had the peculiar idea of knowing about many things, but didn't know how she already knew Yoko's sickness was Bianca's doing.
"Doesn't matter. All three of us are going to take her down tomorrow." I was surprised by Wednesday joining the group, knowing she didn't like to participate in activities like that. That was before realizing she mainly wanted revenge on Bianca.
"Wait. You're joining the black cat? You're willing to do that? For me?" Her eyes widened slightly in surprise and excitement.
"I want to humiliate Bianca so badly that the bitter taste of defeat burns down her throat."
"Yeah, but mostly you're doing it because we're friends, right?" Wednesday left her hanging at that while we thought of plans to sabotage and defeat Bianca.
"Can you tell me how she keeps winning?" I asked, deciding you base my ideas off of defence rather than offence.
"It's a real brain cramp. The last two years, no other boat has made it across and back without sinking."
"Sounds like sabotage," Wednesday supplied.
"There are no rules in the Poe Cup, and she is a Siren, which makes her master of the water." Enid explained further, there was no way to accuse Bianca of cheating if she wasn't actually cheating.
"Then we just need to beat her at her own game."

Wednesday and I met up with Enid in the field outside the lake for the Poe Cup. It was the day to finally beat Bianca and take the Poe Cup for Ophelia Hall. "We're all set," Enid greeted us, buzzing with excitement.
"Good. Thing's in position." Wednesday's response came shortly after.
"Wanna tell me what you were up to?" The blond questioned, a curious look appearing upon her face.
"And spoil the surprise?" My twin's mouth curled upwards in a smirk. I had helped her set up the boat with defended to use against Bianca and some offensive tricks.
"Speaking of surprises, your costume is in the tent."
"Costume?" It was my turn to laugh when Wednesday realized she would have to dress up for the occasion. I also spent time with Enid, putting together the costume for Wednesday, knowing she probably wouldn't like it.
I went into the change room to get into my costume hoping Wednesday had done the same, despite her not wanting to wear one. My costume was a black one piece with decorative green strips laced into it. It was almost made as if it were full of patches and was similar to Enid's. The one we surprised my twin with was similar in shape but made with all black.
Wednesday had not finished by the time I got out and I stood with Enid, anxiously awaiting her costume reveal. She left the tent in her costume with an unimpressed expression passing over her features. "OMG! You look purr-fect!" Enid explained as she examined the costume. "Only thing, where are your whiskers?"
"Ask again and you'll be down to eight lives," she threatened. It had been hard enough getting her to wear the costume and I figured it would be better not to argue over joe to get her to wear the whiskers too.
Everyone got into their canoe's on the lake while we waited for Headmistress Weems to give the go ahead to start. Another girl from Ophelia Hall took the rear end of our boat, Wednesday and I in the middle, and Enid in the front. Bianca was glaring at us from the safety of her canoe. "What do we have here? The runt of the litter," she said, her eyes narrowing in on me.
"For the record, we don't believe we are better than anyone else. Just that we're better than you." Wednesday spoke in relation to the conversation we had overheard. If Bianca was surprised at all, she didn't show it and turned to face Weems who began talking.
"I want to welcome you all to the Edgar Allen Poe Cup. This is one of Nevermore's proudest annual traditions, dating back 125 years." The tall woman spoke with authority and excitement. She had charisma to rally the crowd of students gathered around the lake. "Each team must row across to Raven island, pull a flag from Crackstone's Crypt, and hustle back without sinking or being sunk. First team to cross the finish line with their flag wins the cup and bragging rights for a year, as well as some special privileges."
As she finished explaining the rules and significance of the cup, I faced Bianca with a look of determination on my face. She continued to scowl at me in her usual way as I challenged her. Wednesday have a small smirk as the only indication that we planned to win and that the siren wouldn't be able to outsmart us.
"Let the Poe Cup begin!" Weems yelled, throwing the entire lake into motion. Students began rowing in all directions in order to be the first ones to reach the other side.
